It's chalk. If you are looking for chalk, you've found it. We go through alot of sidewalk chalk at my house. Our biggest issue is that we leave it out and it gets rained on. It's generally still usable after getting soaked but it's never quite the same. We got this chalk two or three weeks back. It arrived 3 or 4 days early. It comes in a reusable box and so far we've been able to convince the kids to put them back in the box, so no rain damage yet. Unlike the other boxes of sidewalk chalk we've bought in the past, these come with chalk holders. The kids loved using them the first day we opened the package. I haven't paid attention to whether they are still using them. In conclusion, it's chalk and it does what chalk does, but with a durable container and some chalk holders, this product offers something that other similarly priced products do not.

Easy to hold

The chalk is decent quality and has a good size for kids to hold. The box it came in, the lid has to be slid off because the handle is in the way and when opening the lid it has broken off plastic pieces.

My great-nieces love playing with chalk and they love this set! It has the holders so they don't get chalk on their hands and so many pieces to play with!

So this was a nice set for the amount of money paid but I’m disappointed because the “covers” to use so chalk don’t get on your hands don’t even grip the chalk so there useless . That was the point of buying this because my daughter has a texture problem and doesn’t like the feel of chalk on her hands .

Product arrived on Saturday, my niece and nephews re-decorated our sidewalk with all kind of designs! Product offers endless play to kid’s. Easy clean up, all in all a great purchase!
