Works as advertised. The color is more in the cool side. Only thing is the bulb in the picture is a white base but the bulbs that I received have black bases. Color is a bit too blue for my taste.

Bright, easy drop-in replacement for all 194, 168, 501 or W5W incandescent bulbs
I just replaced all four front parking light/DRL bulbs on my 2006/2007 Volvo XC70 with these. I cannot speak yet to reliability or durability, but my initial impression as to their effectiveness is that they are superb. They are brighter and MUCH whiter than OEM W5W incandescent bulbs. Evenness of the light pattern is very good, they seem almost perfectly omnidirectional, and the 600K color temperature yields a bright blue-white light in the DRLs without being annoyingly ricer-blue. My visual estimate is that they are 20%-30% brighter than the original W5W bulbs, but honestly it could easily be 50%.They MAY be a SLIGHTLY tight fit in SOME sockets; one of the DRL bulbs on the Volvo took a slight wiggle and a fairly firm push to get it to actually go into the bulbholder. Other than that they are an easy direct drop-in replacement. Manufacturing quality seems to be good. The photo shows white housings, but you may get black; I ordered two sets, and one packet of black and one packet of white arrived ... but realistically, who cares what color the housings are? Is anyone ever going to see them once installed? With the moderate current draw, these bulbs should last practically forever in an automotive application. They should outlive the car. I'm going to check my tail-lights and replace all of the W5W bulbs I find there with these as well, both for the brighter light and so that I never have to change one ever again. I would replace ALL of the light bulbs in the car with LEDs if I could, but LED headlight replacements aren't quite there yet — although they're getting very close now.The listing says that if they don't light, you have the polarity wrong and need to flip them around. (LED is an acronym meaning "light emitting diode", and a diode only flows current in one direction.) But either this is actually incorrect information and they now contain a rectification bridge, or I just got dead lucky and got all four of mine the correct way round the first time, because all four of mine lit on the first try.

Impressive for only $10 and 54miliamps
I tested these with my multimeter, and compared them to some other 1W LEDs that are rated for 330 miliamps. These only draw around 60miliamps of current, but they are very close in brightness to a pair of 1W LEDs I had running @ around 290miliamps.I was skeptical when I read that these were 1W LEDs, but I bought them because they had good reviews.Initially they draw around 70miliamps, but the current almost immediately begins to drop slowly down to 60miliamps as the diode heats up, and after about 30 seconds or less it gets down to just above 54 miliamps, and slowly drops after that. So, it may seem brighter at first glance when turned on...They get warm, but not too hot to touch. The plastic seems durable and good quality...The Clear Plastic covering the diode is NOT necessary, and it may even have a negative impact on brightness, the top is made of hexagons that do not focus the light but seem to bend it away from the center... perhaps to spare your eyes, or spread the light, but the diode itself has a very wide angle without the Clear Plastic, so they may just be there to make it look not so cheap...I removed the plastic cover, it was held in their well but I used a pointy tool between the white and clear plastic to wedge it open.Without the plastic cover, these are really nice LEDs...THE ONLY ISSUE / CON:The LEDs were very SLIGHTLY different color, but not too noticeable. One was very SLIGHTLY more greenish than the other.... not more yellow, more green. I've had this issue before with LEDs... The other was nearly perfect 6000k white, it was slightly more bluish compared to the other....Without having one to compare to the other though, it would be hard to see the difference as it is very slight....OVERALL:Great Product so far, I expect these to last a while, and I may purchase them again in the future....

This one is good for license plate bulb
These bulbs is bright I think....I doesn't have blue tint as I expect...However, compared the the price to performance isn't bright enoughYou can get JDM T10 with 9.99 and about 300 lumens. 3x brighter for your license plate.I bought this because I didn't know about JDM branch.

Blindingly bright, omnidirectional spread, happy customer
I got three sets of these to replace the Green Eye Auto Parts T10 W5W 1-SMD LED Bulb (10pcs) that, while they come in a 10-pack for $7.99, they die so quickly and frequently that it rapidly becomes NOT such a good deal. Also, they weren't terribly bright, and projected light out more like a flashlight would. These Kolites, while kinda pricey for LED bulbs from an unheard-of brand, are truly no comparison to the cheap Chinese bulbs. They shine brighter, spread light all around, and are a more pure white (which is important if you are putting them behind a color-tinted cover). These bulbs are 6000K, whereas the other ones are probably 7000K. These are so bright that I could not stand to look directly at it for too long; the other ones I could stare at all day with no problems. I used them on my 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe for the front and rear sidemarkers and the lights down low on my front doors that light up when the door is open. I've only had them in for a day, so the real test will be seeing how they are later down the road, but, so far, so good.*As someone already mentioned, each pair comes with a thank-you note and a pack of Korean brown rice tea, so if you're a tea person (I'm not) then you will be pleasantly surprised.
