Ordered this to do a compete wipe and reinstall on my Dell laptop and worked like it was supposed to. zero issues and laptop works great now. fast shipping too so that's always a plus! Comes with instructions but if you know what you are doing (if you're getting this disk then you probably do) then you shouldn't have issues

Pros: It works, it even partitians (If I remember correctly, but chose not to) and it felt clean as if I removed previous bugs from the original factory installCons I have a Brand Name. The WiFi driver is missing. But the Ethernet worked fine. It's not the original driver but ethernet worked great.So seperate from this product, I went on my Brand's (Dell) website and they didn't have the exact model number but other model in the same family. The company is Dell and well known for this problem. So I figured, It's not a big deal and I now have a clean install.I bought a decent little WiFi adapter which is probably better to have. you can use it on multiple devices since it will be portable.I might be wrong, but it seems Dell has a Driver finder (It linked to its site) as a program for free but you need to register it to find and auto install the drivers and updates. So there is an option to manually look for a driver but it seems 80 percent are missing in my computer's series of Inspire.

My computer decided to act up and say it couldn't reboot. I was afraid I was going to lose all of my documents and photos. (I have since moved them to the cloud). This disk did the trick! I was able to recover my Windows 7 without losing anything, and it was super easy. It basically did all the work for me, but instructions were included as well.

Amazing. I am so thankful for this seller. My adult son completely messed up a laptop that I gave him (corrupted files, viruses, half install of Windows 8). I had tried everything to fix it, but couldn't. I had downloaded so many patches, etc. from Microsoft with no success. I was basically on boot-up black screen, and that was as far as I could go. I ordered this last Friday, got it on Monday afternoon. On Monday night I got my laptop back, and it's like new. Take your time. Follow the instructions. One part after it boots up was a little quirky, but I figured it out. The version I was working with on my laptop was Windows 7 Home Premium. You do have to have the 25 letter activation code. In my case it was under the battery on the laptop. I was instructed to go to Microsoft website to validate, and that really concerned me because this was OEM. But the code was confirmed. What a deal on this software. I was so close to buying a refurbished laptop with Windows 7.

I ordered this after I had attempted to restore my Windows 7 to factory default. When I attempted to restore, it gave me the black screen after windows loaded and nothing I tried (entering code, going through the restore wizard, etc) would work. This disc worked EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED. The instructions are easy to follow and the process was much faster than I anticipated. I went from loading a black screen with just my mouse cursor to a fully operational windows 7 in no time.

My computer went out just after I downloaded some updates. It would not reboot, could not get to my icons, nothing. I followed the directions that came with Windows 7 Install DVD and in less fifteen minutes my computer was FIXED.If I could I would give it a 10.

My computer would not start up in windows. I have Windows 7 Ultimate and I was able to repair my current windows OS without formatting or losing anything. It takes time for it to do its thing and work but be follow directions, be patient and it should work like it worked for me. I was skeptical but pleased in the end.

Reinstalled windows 7 on my computer but now i have no wifi and it keeps saying error when i try to download the wifi drivers off the disc. Very cheap junk
