Quality, realism
This is NOT a kids toy. Fine for an older kid that loves airplaines, but not for little ones that would break it or choke on the small parts. I purchased this DeAgostini F4U Corsair die-cast for $40 on amazon in May 2023 to replace my old broken Corsair die-cast. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the model. Great paint. Nice, heavy quality metal die-cast. No instructions, but the small pieces that weren't installed snapped in very easily with no glue needed. Installed on the included stand in the clean, gear-up configuration. (gotta appreciate those lines with the gull-wing.) I snapped in the landing gear covers, the tailhook assembly, and the propeller and snapped it onto the stand. Looks fantastic. Would definitely buy again from this mfg.

Looks Nice
This was a gift for my 11 year old son. He loves old airplanes and actually sent me the link to order this for him The plane itself is generally heavy. The stand holds it well. 1 propeller broke the first day The “landing gear” won’t stay on and some of the knotches to hold it in place were broken.I ended up using super glue to hold all of the landing gear on. I haven’t been able to fix the propeller
