AniMed Dl-Methionine Pure for Horses, 16Oz…

I have four horses with great feet and it’s due to this product. I just wish it was more easily available.

I use this for my cats as one of the males became very ill very quickly (they can die an excruciating, painful death). My vet diagnosed him with urinary crystals and put him on a few meds and told me about this product. I did a LOT of research. My findings were 1) Use this product. 2) Do not ever, ever feed male cats dry kibble, it causes so many problems with their urinary tract and kidneys. It's bad for female cats and their kidneys as well. Pet food is not regulated and even premium food is far from good enough. Cats are carnivores, NOT omnivores! 3) Feed only raw homemade feline diet (add DI-Meth just before serving) OR any canned cat food w/added water (add DI-Meth just before serving). This product is very economical as you use so little, I add to all the cats food as to avoid huge vet bills, a suffering pet and heartache when they die an early death from kidney issues or urinary crystals.SUMMARY: Add this to canned or homemade food + NO dry kibble ever = No vet bills and a healthy pet.

The supplement has greatly improved my horse's hoofs. Much better than Biotin 100 powder.

Use this for my male kitty with struvite crystals in his urine. Mix it in the wet food HE likes instead of the crappy prescription diet food. Use about 1/8 tsp per day. This is the active ingredient in those pricey prescription diets you can only purchase from the veterinarian/with a prescription. This is over the counter. No prescription needed !

I feed this to my dog to prevent bladder stones. Our vet suggested the special canned diet or this supplement. My previous dog had been on the special diet which 1) she hated and 2) stank terribly and 3) was very expensive, so I didn't want to go there again. She's been on this supplement for 5-6 years and we've had no problems. The vet had recommended this supplement in tablet form but that was also expensive compared to this powder. I've been very satisfied.

Our cat started to pee all over our furniture, took him to the vet where he was diagnosed with a UTI they treated with antibiotic shot and this still didn't clear it up so after another vet trip they gave a different set of antibiotics and said UTI+stones was the issue almost 1000$ worth of vet treatment and the issue still didn't seem to get any better vet gave a prescription for special food but warned it would be expensive so after some research we decided to try this, started out giving him 1/8th tsp every morning but after a few weeks still didn't seem to be getting any better so increased dosage to 1/4th tsp once a day and after a few weeks the peeing started to get much better and it has now been a couple of weeks and he has been using the litter box much better and not straining to pee so hopefully this in-conjunction with the antibiotics has eliminated the problem. Would def recommend giving this a try.

good product. very concentrated. using for dog, using very small dose. I bought this a year ago, and it is now losing potency drastically. My dog's pH is way up. So just be sure to monitor your animal's urine pH every couple of weeks.....because. I am ordering some 'fresh' .

I love this stuff- It has really helped our Wally who has had so many urinary issues throughout his almost 10 years. He has even had the surgery to shorten his uretha which was extremely narrow. Poor guy. I add 1/8th tsp in both of his wet meals. It sure has cut down on any vet visits from being blocked. We love this stuff. It really helps my kitty!
