Poor written installation and time setup instruction. Had to pay a clock shop $30 to explain it.
Nice looking parts. Even though I am very technical, the instructions are pathetic and translated / written in/very poor English. They must provide sensible logical and numbered steps with clear documentation for instruction. Paid a clock shop to explain it that charged $30 for 10 minutes. Now I will try to set it up-not optimistic . I would not buy it again and it is too bad I can not longer return it as it is still not working. Do not waste you TIME!

Easy to assemble but a little difficult to set
I assembled this it no time about 5 minutes. Setting it with the chime was a different story. It was difficult to get the minute exactly with the chime it took about 20 tries to get it right. It is nice that it stops chiming at 9pm and resumes at 6am. The sound is equivalent to a true westminster chime grandfather clock. Only wish it would do the single chime at the half hour mark. Highly recommend it and will probably rebuild another one of my old clocks with this as well.

Poor sound quality.
The components seem to work "as designed', but the level/ volume of sound is very weak. Installed in an expensive clock cabinet, it looks good, but the sound is laughable..
