I love it. It does what a stand I have for my iPad does, holds it vertically or horizontally and can be set in your lap hands free for easy viewing. It snaps easily into a hard shell, blocking no aspects of the viewing screen. I do not like any cases you slide the mini or full iPad into, they always seem in the way, but this case blocks nothing. It is brilliant. It rotates simply, stays standing.FYI, I did not see the strap that was holding the case closed and I tried opening it by what turned out to be the rotational device. It came apart in my hand and I panicked that I had broken it. Then I saw the strap that closes the cover. I opened it and was able to easily snap back into place the rotational center, no damage at all. For a woman I think the red is great. I highly would recommend this product.

I so wanted this case to work, as it was really good looking. Reviews had been mixed about the wake/sleep feature, but I decided to take a chance. No, it did not shut the iPad off and turn it on when the cover is opened and closed. The wallet design puffs out the cover, putting it too far from the iPad even without anything in those useful slots. If it had worked, I could have gotten over the reeking odor, but I immediately went and ordered a different case. How can something so small create such a smell? My eyes watered, and I had to put it outside for fifteen minutes before even trying it.

I love this case. It's gorgeous and vibrant colored and looks much more expensive than it cost. But most importantly, I purchased it for the portrait stand feature to read books on my mini. The stand swivels easily into both landscape and portrait orientations and then to closed position. It's sturdy while on the stand. The hard case portion fit my mini perfectly. The cover is less thick than I expected which is good - I can easily slip it into my purse or bag. I'm very happy with this purchase and the price.

I love this thing , came on time ups. Beautiful red color ....and a stylus pen mine goodness works excellent. And yes it does sleep and wake as advertised .it rotate different angle as advertised...well made and a small LCD cloth about a inch wide that u can attached to the back of the cover ...cleans nice...and oh a screen shield plastic...don't like those much but I put it on on just because the sent it.That is all ....love this thing and so lite...to hold ....ahhhhhh .....

This cover works perfectly for my needs. It holds my ipad mini retina. I initially purchased it because I wanted something inexpensive to hold my ipad whle I decided n a "good" cover. I never did get anything else, since this works so perfectly! I've been using it daily for over 2 months, & it shows no signs of wear. I like that the screen can be turned in any direction (landscape or profile), with the home button to the left or the right. I've never had any problems with my ipad slipping out of the little easel channels, also I've never had any cracking of the plastic on the cover. The colors are very nice. I got the red.

LOVE this little case for my iPad Mini! I've had it about 2 weeks and am still pleased and smile when I see it. While I usually use it in my hand by folding back the cover, I have used it a few times standing in the slots - both longwise and tallwise. I really like that the mini fits into the holder without the case wrapping around part of the screen. The smart case feature only works if the mini is positioned in the case correctly. While it took me a few times to figure out, it's really pretty simple - hold the case like a book with the binding to the left and the portion that's the holder where the back cover would be. Insert your ipad mini with the camera at the top. Then make sure when you close it that the mini is still in that position. The only thing I struggle with (and I'm using that word very loosely!) is that the elastic loop for the stylus is a bit snug and I have to fidget with it a bit to get the stylus in. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the cover; it truly is a perfect blend of fashion and function for me!

Looked cool so I got it. learned a lesson and upgraded to a more durable case. After a few months my case stretched and then my ipad kept falling out. You get what you pay for.

The initial product I received came already falling apart. HOWEVER I am pleased to say that I was immediately contacted an sent a new case that looks excellent. I like the look and it feels very sturdy. So the 4 stars instead of 5 is just because mistakes happen and this first product was not what it should have been. So pleased with the company that they replaced it so quickly without any more hassle for me. Thanks One con is that it does not have a place inside the case to store the stylus.
