Brain Damage: A twisted psychological thriller that will keep you guessing

The subject of this book is one I never thought I'd be interested in, let alone read, but having read The Housemaid and its follow up, I thought I'd give it a go. McFadden writes so well, her pace and storyline are neat, keeping the reader's interest at all times. Once again, she brings a refreshing angle to any situation. I'm hooked. Thank you Freida.

I love the diversity of Frieda and this book is wonderfully different to others or hers I have read. The only similarity was that I couldn't put this one down either. Beautifully written

I loved how this story was written before and after & the storyline itself was brilliant and hooked me. The characters and relationships within the book were great. One of my favourite Freida McFadden books!

This was a fabulous read. It kept me reading and had me feeling empathy for the main character and also made me laugh out loud in places. The author wrote in such a way to have me rooting for the main character and hoping it all worked out

interesting read but quite predictable

I’ve read quite a lot of Freida McFadden’s books….But this blew me away. Forget about the whodunnit part, you do get that obviously, but the storyline is incredible. It’s written with such a depth of emotion and understanding that took me back. I have a progressive neurological disease so connected very quickly with Charley. The author writes incredibly well about the struggles of communicating when the brain is affected. Completely different from being shot in the head I know…. But I really really enjoyed this book, a completely different approach from her usual ones. Emotionally this book is a book about survival and believing in yourself. I’d give it 10 stars if I could !

Read it over 24 hours, such a gripping story, laughed all the way through and made me cry at the end

This was my favourite read from this Author ! A amazing detail of someone with a Brain injury ,and how this character is progressing and coping.Clark ,the husband, We felt was trouble from Day one.All the Patients in rehab was well portrayed. The character, Jamie was very portrayed and added greatly to the story outcome.Great Book ! I

Amazing book!!! Intense, touching, everything! I have read most of Freida McFadden books and this one might be my favorite!

Rest assured, folks. It has a happy ending. Different premise for a change. Refreshing! Loved it. Do read it. It has suspense, love and enough to keep you engaged.

A complete change for Freida McFadden but such a beautiful, well written and delicious book to read. Thank you!

I enjoyed reading the book. It kept me hooked and wanting to find out how it ends. Some parts were predictable, yet overall a nice and well written book.
