It's bright enough
This lamp had a base that has a magnet. I attached it to the back of my sewing machine and it is a very strong magnet. It doesn't move around. I have the light behind my machine where it shines on whatI'm sewing. I adjusted it so it wouldn't be so glaring, but it works fine. I had the tiny strand of lightsthat you could attach onto the machine and put out a soft light, which I liked better than a glaring one,but the strand of lights lasted maybe a year, can't remember exactly how long, but then it developeda short and would go on and off and I was continueally moving the cord around to make it stay on.And I don't sew constantly all the time. I hope this lamp lasts longer. It says it's good for 50,000 hours;we'll see.
