Beware of this product.
Filter was defective, cost us $250 for repairing our ice and water to our refrigerator. The filter sent the charcoal into the refrigerator instead filtering it. Not happy

First one beoke
I had exact same problem as T Brown. The first one broke half way through screwing it. It wasn't even tight that I felt it is wobbly. The head pice got stuck in the housing which was a pain to take out. I tried the second filter and was perfectly fine. What a waste of a filter considering they are not cheap.

One broke
The first one we tried screwing on had its tip break off. I've included pictures below. I did not return to Amazon and I ended up using the second one in the pack but I will be contacting 3M.

Repeat order. Nothing specific to expect.
For some reason, it seemed to be easier to install this time compared to the previous one which was bought a year ago.
