Works but you need to connect using Wifi "No Scan" mode
I tried everything at first and gave up as it would not connect to my wifi even though I followed every step (I'm technically sound). Just before I decided to return, I tried the "Wifi (No Scan)" connection option where you have to manually enter the SSID of your Wifi network. Surprisingly that worked immediately even though the normal method where it scans and detects the Wifi was picking the same connection.Any way, it connected immediately, works amazingly and sends alerts when the device loses AC power or when it turns back on. Beautiful. Now I can monitor my Aquarium when not nearby.SMS does not work for outside of US however email works just fine.

Does what it is intended for, but you need a USA phone number for the sms (you can get one that is web based for free)

The device is very difficult to set up & configure & costly for what it could do..Don't Buy it.
