Works well keeping plants moist, when on vacation!

We bought these to help keep the soil moist in plants that are in pots. We got them very wet then put them in to pots close to the roots. It did seem to help plants survive a very dry hot summer. I purchased more as well. They are a little fragile as they re terracotta & not thick. I was very pleased with the product and how much they helped.

These worked great. I'm pretty sure. I had seen in several other reviews that you needed to soak them in water for an hour before use and to be sure to dig a hole FOR them rather than trying to dig a hole WITH them. I bought two different kinds and I'm fairly certain that these directions were also included in the box for both kinds but just be sure to follow those directions. I am still not totally sure exactly how well they work but they seem to be doing great. It's just hard to know how close to my plants they should be...I use them in an elevated garden bed. I was out of town for 6 days and it rained for 3 of them so these were drained on my return, but also my plants were totally thriving. Typically I would need to water daily with this weather so I take that as a sign that they worked. I used a mixture of bottles - Kirkland brand water bottles, Corona Lights, a couple Diet Dr. Peppers and a large size Ozark water bottle. All seem to work really well and stay upright with no issues. Personally I like the way the Coronas look the best with that long neck but they don't hold as much water.

I have high quality organic Carolina reaper peppers growing in the heat of summer, and I need to keep them watered at the top during this unprecedented heatwave. These delicate ceramics are perfect for storing and transporting moisture at a controlled and needed level. The roots wrap around the newly inserted, and water-primed device. Follow directions and everything should turn out fine. I only had the 3 break during bottle insertion. That fact did not change the productivity of the other 27. They work just fine and are of good craftsmanship. I can only imagine there were tiny micro fractures that couldn’t be seen and during shipping they may have been slightly exacerbated and by the time I put the bottle in it just broke. No harm done. 10 out of 10 will buy from again.

First of all it’s big and good quality came well packed.I thought it will be good enough for plants to thrive or grow. But sadly no. You still have to water them atleast once in a week or plants look droopy .But it really helps to keep the plant alive . If you are going for a vacation need something to keep your plants alive this is the one to go .

I was leaving for a trip for five days and decided to see how this will work for my herbs. 😯 wow was I surprised. My plants were perfect after 5 days. The instructions are very simple to follow and I like the terra-cotta look. I used a smaller bottle for the five days,however since it worked so well I continue to fill the bottles which has saved me so much time in watering. Highly recommend…..

I love these spikes! They help keep my plants hydrated when I don’t water them appropriately which happens a lot. They came well packaged. I do believe they are to expensive but 🤷‍♀️

Es una excelente compra si vas a salir de viaje y no quieres que se te seque una planta, la única recomendación que les haria es que previo a usarlo lo dejen en una cubeta con agua para que se impregne bien de agua una noche o todo un día, de lo contrario al ponerle la botella el mismo material lo absorbe y eso implica que el agua de la botella dure menos.

We used a 1 litre pop bottle and it fit as advertised. Our plants are healthy and happy!

Works great for my plants! But make sure to soak them for at least 1-2 hours before use. One wine bottle will last me about 2 weeks in my hibiscus pot. Love them so much I’m ordering again!

C'est vraiment bien, bien emballé, livraison rapide. Nous sommes allés en vacances sans soucis, avec des bouteilles d'eau en plastique inversées dans les pics, tout est resté humide, yessss!
