Good shower chair
This shower chair I purchased for my mother. The only issue I had was one of the handle bar metal tube ends was bent (oval shaped) and I had to use a wrench with all my strength to shape it back into a circle to finish setting up the chair.

So much more room!
In preparation for upcoming knee surgery, I wanted to buy a shower chair so I would be able to sit down while showering. The first one I bought was fine...was sturdy and would have worked but had such limited room to maneuver for a big girl. I saw this one and though I'm nowhere close to 600 lbs! (mid 200s only), having the extra room to maneuver without having the chair's arms close to my body (as was the case with the first chair I bought) makes it so much better. I also don't need the 'potty chair' part of this shower chair but thought that if I could remove the inner piece from the seat that allows it to be used as a potty chair, it would make it a lot easier to be able to use a handheld shower to spray soap off of my private areas. Really glad I bought it though the price is ridiculous which is why I won't give it more than 4 stars.(Note: I have a large walk-in shower so it fit fine. I can't speak for how well it would fit inside a standard bathtub. You would need to check the dimensions in the product description.)

Very excellent chair
My mother needed this chair to bathe and it has been a personal blessing to own .It is sturdy and holds up under pressure well.My mom depends on it and it has more than paid for itself by the protection and comfort it has provided my mother. We are both very happy with it.And would buy it again.

Not quite as sturdy as I would have preferred...
There are a lot of shower chairs out there to choose from, but not so many that support heavyweight people. This one looked well-made, and looked compact enough to fit in my shower. I just recently got a new walk-in shower installed, and it's about the same area as a bathtub. We discovered we had to remove one of the arm rests on the side in order for it to fit, as the width of the chair, with both arm rests, was too wide for the shower. It holds my weight well enough, and doesn't move when I'm sitting on it. But when I'm not sitting in it, I can wiggle the chair back and forth. Doesn't seem as sturdily well-put-together as it should be, though it doesn't feel like it's going to give out on me either. It's supposed to be slip-resistant, but when I was pretty lathered up, the seat felt a bit slippery to me, and I just had to be careful of how I moved around on it. So far it's working for me, and I really need to be able to sit down to do part of my showering, as I have problems with leg weakness, and it's hard for me to be up on my feet for very long at a time. If you're expecting a padded seat, it's not. The only thing padded are the armrests. It does seem to be made out of a solid plastic material that looks like it will hold up well though. Overall, I'm mostly happy with this and give it a 4 star rating.

BEDSIDE/SHOWER COMMODE... ...LOVE EEE EEE...COLOR. ASSEMBLING EASYYYYY IN JUST A FEW MINUTES. WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS COLORFUL SIMPLE STEP BY STEP... ... "BUT" (2) THINGS THAT ARE A NEGATIVE!!! 1. THE "OPENING" IS NOT as large as the regular BEDSIDE/SHOWER COMMODE OPENING!!! THIS OPENNING MUCH SMALLER AS IT MAY HAVE BEEN MADE FOR A SMALL CHILD NOT A FULL SIZE ADULT ESPECIALLY SINCE WEIGHT CAPACITY IS (600 LBS!)!!!!!! 2. CAN NOT LIFT SEAT TO CLEAN...HAVE TO TURN COMPLETE CHAIR OVER!!! 3. BAR IN FRONT AREA OF SEAT NEED TO EXTEND FORWARD MORE... GETS CONTAMINATED WITH LIQUID BEING ELIMINATED FROM BODY!!! MAYBE MANUFACTURE WILL CONSIDER THESE THINGS IN FUTURE!!! THANKS! PLEASE BE SAFE!

Sturdy bathroom chair
I bought this to use while recovering from hand surgery. Typically I’m able to transfer directly onto a regular toilet, but with only one arm to use, I need to use a slide board, and I thought using a commode chair of some sort would be better. I was hoping for more padding, but this does work, I don’t hear my sit bones grinding into the seat when I shift my weight back-and-forth as I pull my pants back up. The armrests are sturdy, and padded just enough that it doesn’t hurt your arm when you lean on them. I bought this one in particular because it was a little wider, and I didn’t want to have to deal with raising and lowering an arm. There are a few ridges that make it a little difficult to clean around the toilet opening, but if you’re also using this as a shower chair it might make it easier. I do wish that this folded up a bit smaller as I think it would make a great travel shower chair. Should work for road trips. Came with a splash guard and a bucket.

Perfect seat for big n tall!
I’m a big and tall girl who had a motorcycle accident and needed a tall and wide enough seat to shower. I removed the “handle bars” and it has been a life saver. Built a bigger shower with grab bars and use this stool. I have my freedom to shower safely again without help. Alot less expensive than the walk in tub shower combo. Seat is not completely comfortable but the removable center allows for easier personal cleaning. I see it works above a toilet seat and it can travel with you.

A well built supportive potty chair
Easy to assemble. This has a 600 lb capacity. Full bottomed folks need to know that a size person with a hip size of 62 is about as wide this chair can accommodate while sitting.Easy to clean , comfortable .
