These remote control lights are very festive and we used them for many different purposes on our beach vacation. I bought them to light up the pool area at night and they were bright and colorful. I purchased three sets and all six of them worked perfectly! Each light comes with its own remote but we only used one of them to control them all. We used them to light up the wooden boardwalk leading to the beach at night and they provided safety especially on the dark steps. We used them on the beach to light up the holes in the bean bag toss game and that was so cool- it would have been very hard to see the target without them and made the game so much more fun at night! We put them in the cup holders of our beach chairs at night and they were bright even with our drinks on top of them! I used them to decorate on our taco feasta night by turning them yellow, red and green - they really made setting look great! I set them under our liquor bottles and they lit up each one beautifully! So fun! There are so many color settings to choose from and the brightness can be adjusted easily. They will create mood lighting anytime- anywhere! Everyone thought they were pretty and fun! The batteries lasted the whole week- took 3 AAA each. The different modes give many options. Very nice purchase!

I bought 2 packages of two. Opened the first and put batteries in both units, fired up the remote and only one turned on. So I played with the lit one for a while, then picked up the one not working and it was warm, so I opened it up and found the batteries to be overheating and melting! What irked me even more is that I had used my good Eneloop rechargeables which now looked physically damaged so discarded them. I was brave enough to try the other two units and they worked fine. So I guess you could say even 3 out of 4 not bad given the price but besides the waste of the batteries and unit itself that's a very serious issue. Even 3 little AAAs can generate enough heat to melt and potentially catch fire! I then used the 3 working ones in my pool and while they did work they didn't really create the "glow" effect I had hoped for. Also since one remote controls all units if they're close to each other it can be difficult to set them separately. I must say I was pleased I was able to control mine separately while only about 1 ft apart, however only through a couple feet of water so had to keep them on the stairs, on the bottom they could be seen but not controlled.

These lights work great, we got them for our hot tub. The only downside is that the remotes can't get wet. The first time we used them we had the remotes on the little drink stand on the hot tub, we didn't realize they couldn't get wet. I mean, our hands were in the hot tub, so they were wet...and then we couldn't get the lights to turn off. Once we had gotten out and dried off we opened up the lights to disconnect the batteries, to turn them off. We pulled the batteries out of the remotes and let them dry off too, after they dried out they worked just fine. So after that first time learning to not get the remotes wet, it's all fine. A little frustrating because it's fun to change the settings and play around with the colors of the lights while you're in the hot tub, but you can't do it with wet hands :/

These are pretty awesome. My only mistake is not tightening them hard enough and getting water inside them. If you do make sure to uncap remove batteries and put near a fan or in a dry place like in the sun for 6-8 hours. I’m amazed at the battery longevity if you are using them for short burst of 30-40 minutes they seem to last for a dozen uses. I’ve also left them on for a full 48 hours and they started to dim after about 30 hours.

Makes hanging out more fun! I use one set in dark settings when hanging out (like a lava lamp) and the other one for the bath tub for long soaks. It makes things just a little less boring. The remote is functional too as long as you point it right at the LEDs. I knocked off a star for the battery life, they lose their power pretty rapidly, after just a couple hours on Amazon rechargeable AAAs it's already noticeably dimmer. Rechargables are a must. 4/5 stars, would recommend.

Very cool product. I put some of these in my outdoor fountain in the backyard. Love the way they light up the water and you can set to change colors or leave any one of the several color options solid. Easy to use. Does require 3 AAA batteries per light, which are not included. Also noticed that I can use just one of the two remotes on both lights. I plan to get more of these.

One died from water getting inside of it after two uses but the other is still working fine. Overall not a bad product with all of the different color options but I would've liked the other one to have lasted longer.Update- After seeing my review the seller contacted me and offered to send a replacement. To my surprise a brand new set of two came in the mail shortly after. I've since used all three multiple times and have had no issues. All three work great and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is considering purchasing them. Great seller to deal with and will look for products sold by them for future purchases.

For what these cost, they are worth the money. While they are "water proof" it didn't stay lit when completely submerged for extended periods of time. But, once out of the water, worked fine again. The coolest thing to do with these lights is turn it on the "fade" function, and set a bottle of vodka or rum on it, when having a get together. You'll be glad you did.
