Sevylor Tahaa Kayak for 2 persons The Tahaa with its lightweight construction is particularly suitable for beginners and for first excursions on the water. The wide shape of the kayak guarantees excellent stability. The canoe is easily inflated and deflated with the Boston valves. A check cap ensures that air cannot escape when the pump hose is withdrawn. Simply open the whole valve to deflate it; to inflate it, open only the cap. The optimum pressure can be readily ascertained with the integrated Sevytest pressure indicator. It provides enough space for two adults. The kayak has 2 adjustable, removable and inflatable seats with excellent seating comfort. The canoe can be quickly and easily converted from a 2-person canoe to a 1-person canoe. With the integrated spray covers at stern and bow there is plenty of space to store luggage and equipment. Due to the stable design the Tahaa offers a good performance on the water. The 3 air chambers are kept in separate compartments for increased safety. The robust and resistant PVC cover protects the kayak from abrasion and damage. The PVC wing chambers as well as the PVC floor chamber with bar construction guarantee a high degree of stability. The two ergonomic handles (one at the front and one at the back) allow easy transportation of the kayak. Capacity: 2 adults Can be used for 1 or 2 persons Max. payload: 160 kg; weight: 8 kg Dimension inflated: 315 x 84 cm Inflated within 10 minutes Robust polyester cover PVC wing chambers and floor chambers with bar construction 3 separate air chambers for more safety Boston valve for easy inflation and deflation Spray covers at bow and stern 2 adjustable, removable inflatable seats 2 ergonomic carrying handles Drain valve (for easy draining of water after a trip) Scope of delivery: Tahaa kayak, repair set

Okay for a first timer
Great first kayak. One downside is that the sides are so high that if you capsize it is near impossible to get back into unless you can get only waist deep in the water. Also the inflatable seat has no anchor to the kayak so slides about unless you shove it right to the back and then the front of the kayak tips up a fair bit. And I’m not heavy!

Lots of fun
Used it for the first time and it was easy to inflate and moved well in the water. Never felt like it was going to tip. Might need to add a skeg, doesn't come me with pump or oars. Really please overall.

Should come with skeg
I found it hard to stear without a skeg/fin even on a still lake and also the inflatable seats dont stay in place , they slide too easily ! Apart from that i do like my Sevylor inflatable kayak.

Lovely Kayak
This is our first kayak, bought as a present for my husband's birthday. We're lucky enough to live near lakes, and so far we've done one trial voyage. It seemed to work very well. Reasonably easy to handle, felt very stable in the water and maintained it's air pressure very well.Early days, but seems very good.
