Buyer beware
I'm a seasoned wrap wearer and I prefer a less stretchy wrap like this one. I wanted to love this wrap so much but the placement of the hideous safety tag was an absolute deal breaker for me. They seriously could have put this anywhere else on the wrap and it would have been fine but putting it on the end of the tail makes it very awkward to tie and visible while you're wearing it. I couldn't look past that design flaw. I have another brand of wrap wrap where they stitched it up higher so it just ends up being concealed in a part that wraps around your body and you never see it.

Lifesaver!
The Moby wrap has been very helpful with my newborn! My baby likes to be held a lot but as I also need my arms once in a while, I decided to try the Moby wrap. I was interested in this model because it has good reviews on multiple sites, can be adjusted for different body sizes so both my husband and I can wear it, and it’s suitable for a newborn (many of the backpack style carriers have a higher weight limit.) The wrap isn’t that hard to figure out; just watch the video and try it a couple times and you’ll be good to go. When my daughter is getting fussy I pop her in and she usually falls asleep within minutes. She’s sleeping in it as I write this review! Downsides - it seems to stretch out as she’s wearing it so she eventually droops further down and I have to keep adjusting it. And if you take your baby out you can’t really just put her back in, you have to re-wrap. Overall I like this wrap - it’s been a lifesaver!

Really wanted to love this
I really wanted to love this wrap, but wrapping was too complicated and much too hard to adjust once you had the baby in the wrap. I didn’t feel like it was safe or comfortable for my baby unless I had wrapped it perfectly from the beginning. I wanted to breastfeed in it and wear it all day around the house without feeling like I had to constantly adjust. To adjust you really have to take it all the way off and put back on again, which is not realistic with an infant. For the record I watched several videos on wrapping, wore it for over a week, and consider myself fairly skilled at wrapping it. I returned and bought a K’tan - 1000 times better for secure baby wearing without all the fuss and constant concern of my babies hips and head flopping around and the rails loosening.

Easy to use once figured out, recommend this brand.
I wanted to try a wrap to carry my newborn since I would be at home with her frequently by myself once my husband goes back to work. This had really good reviews and I liked the leopard print! I wanted to be able to do little things around the house and my grad school work online, especially since she ONLY wants to be held these days. The paper instructions it came with was okay- I had to You Tube it and try it a couple times w my husband, but it was easy once I figured out how to use it. I washed it according to directions and it washed well! I’ve only used it a couple times so far but I love it! And baby girl seems to like it, too!!

Satisfied
Arrived on time and in condition described. I really like it but unfortunately did not get to use it very much. I had complications during my delivery resulting in surgery. The pain due to stitches and back ache prevented me from wearing it more than once or twice. Another problem I experienced was how warm it is. My baby was sweating wearing only a onesie and it was difficult putting it on in the hot summer weather. This would work great for a normal delivery in a cooler time of year. My husband wore it a few times at the grocery store and he and the baby loved it, she fell asleep almost immediately and it soothed her when she was fussy. It is really comfortable but I did have to adjust wearing it to fit my middle. I normally wear an XL and could not tie it in the front - I tied it in the back instead of wrapping it around to the front again. It still worked fine that way. It held up well in the wash and I will save it for my next baby, hopefully I will get to try using it again in cooler weather.

Some things to take into account
Overall these wraps are really comfy however, it is worth noting that it can be complicated to get the fit right. Sometimes we have been a bit rushed with a crying baby or we have just not been paying close attention and we've made it too tight or too loose, and both of which are uncomfortable. So, consistency can be an issue. This model is also not as long as the older model. I liked the extra slack on the old model it added an extra wrap around and made it feel more stable. But I will say the extra slack made it a little more difficult to get on quickly. So many things to take into account if you want to use these wraps regularly. I recommend maybe alternating two different wraps ( ring slings, back pack, woven wraps ) and figuring out what works best for you!

Good carrier
We used this all the time, because you can start using it at a smaller size than with some of the other carriers. It’s quite an ordeal to put it on, and it’s hard to get it tight enough while also sitting low enough on your body to make room for the baby. I like that it is washable. I like that it does not take up very much space in the diaper bag. It is so compact that I can wear it under baggy coats to go outside in winter. It is convenient that you put it on before you put the baby in, so sometimes I would put it on before driving somewhere and then pop him in quickly upon arrival. It is a pretty color and durable fabric. The baby loves taking naps in here. Because it is so thin, it is easy to check if the baby is still breathing. That was really helpful for me as a new mom. I have back problems, and it became uncomfortable for me once the baby got bigger, so I had to switch to an ergo. The ergo is a cinch to put on compared to the Moby. Also, it is easier to do skin-to-skin time in the ergo than in the Moby. I am glad I bought it, but I will not be giving it to anyone at baby showers.

Love the moby!
Comfy and soft and feels very secure with baby inside. Not a super stretchy fabric (which is fine and it totally still works but if you’re looking for a solly wrap dupe this isn’t quite it.) the pear color is a lovely soft green. My baby loves being in it he falls right asleep or will happily look up at me at what I imagine is my most unflattering angle

Very useful
I bought this for my eldest daughter who was around 3 months at the time. I found it comfortable to use, more so than the babybjorn carrier i had, or the two other carriers which dug into my shoulders too much whereas this is nice and soft and stretchy. My second daughter had just come along and is very clingy and suffers a lot from wind/colic. She wont be put down without crying, so being able to carry her around in this is a lifesaver. Its comfortable enough to wear around the house whilst doing housework and i use it when nipping out so i dont have to pack the buggy.Yes it is a bit of a hassle getting it on the first few times and i almost gave up since the babybjorn was so much easier to put on, but once you get the hang of it it doesnt take long at all.Baby looks really comfy and snug in this and without fail will fall asleep from even the worse crying fits within minutes of being put inside the carrier.I love it and its been really useful to me.
