When unpacking this from its own bag, my first though was who stole the bin bags, as it gives that sort of feel about it, it is very light weight, but perfect for those its raining but too warm for heavier coats.The outer shell is water proof, however there are no storm flaps on either the pockets or main zip, which means sooner or later depending on just how heavy the rain is, it will in effect leak through the zips them selves sooner or later.This however is not just a problem with this jacket but is a problem I have seen with quite a few other so called water proof jackets in various price ranges, no storm flaps covering the pockets and main zip, which sooner or later depending on the weather causes them to in effect leak on both pocket and main zip.It states it is breathable, but I have worn it with just a t-shirt under it in not too warm a day, and found the sleeves to be sticky with condensation when trying to take it off, less of a problem with a sweater or other long sleeve top though, but chances are you will still notice it trying to in effect stick to you arms as you take it off.

I work outdoors throughout the year and wanted a lightweight 'pakamac' for unexpected showers. This is just that. Slightly more expensive than some, but it does have two pockets and all the seams are stitched, and welded. The zip works smoothly and the drawstring hood completes the picture. A more durable finish than previous purchases. A good buy.

Erm it’s a kagool, keeps the rain off. Only been in regular showers and does the job. The storage pouch is very handy.

Great value for money. Mac is well made and certainly keeps you dry even in torrential rain!

Nicely lightweight. I've only ly worn it a few times, but so far it's been 100% waterproof. Hopefully it'll continue to be! Easy to pack into the supplied pouch, though you need to make sure it's dry first.
