this is one of those comfort reads that i will never get over how beautifully it was written. there is a lot to unpack with nathan and eliza's story. first off, a best friends to lovers that is perfection. their story is one of close friendship and love that turns into finding yourself and who you truly and deeply love. there is no other book that really made me feel like love is love. i was not expecting this one to be as emotional as it was. i cried so much throughout reading this book. you could feel the pain that nathan went through and the internal struggle that he went through. you could also so easily feel the deep love and care that he had for eliza. it was in the little moments that showed me how deep it was. it was how they acted around each other and how others could sense it. this is one that hits a lot of topics that for me can be hard to process. i love so much how i felt like i was in the book. like i was in the trenches with them when they were so emotionally deep that they didn't know how to communicate. i felt like a lot of things in this was relatable. ive had those feelings before for a close friend and specifically with this one i felt their pain and struggles. did i like that sometimes petty fights? no, but at the same time it made their story so relatable. every couple has small fights. but what matters at the end of the day is learning how to communicate better than the time before and making sure that they know that you guys are on the same team. this is one of my favorite comfort reads of all time. and i hope that more people read this story.infinity stars / two and a half chili pepperstropes:- best friends to lovers- doctor / nurse- pansexual mmc- alpha male- roommates- grumpy x sunshine

When I say I freaking loved this book!!!!! I was so happy to start reading again and this was my first pick. You did a wonderful job writing this. I was so nervous about there relationship the ups and the downs. The friends getting into the conversations and I was just nervous lol. But I’m glad everything worked out and they are happy

Interesting story but had me shaking my head. Train wreck after train wreck. I don’t think they would have had a HAE. Just… a prolonged train wreck. So much fighting.

Read this book in 2 days. Loved it. Funny and sad and hot. And I really like all books by TL Swan.

There were some really great parts in this book but also a lot of inconsistencies. What ever happened to her two best friends. Once she leaves for New York they’re never mentioned again… also not a fan of them I’m so completely in love with her can’t eat or sleep but I can have $ex with two strippers a few times but it means nothing. That part made me hate Nathan. Overall this I give it 3.5 it had a great concept but execution left much to be desired.

Loved Nathan! Interesting subject matter that kept me interested in the outcome. I’ve read many of this author’s books and this was the best of her them so far!

I enjoyed reading this book!These emotional characters were filled with a great amount of depth, their background gave so much more to the development of the storyline which is solid and a consistent page turner. The story flowed easily throughout the pages. A must read!

This was my very first TL Swan book and it won’t be my last. I really enjoyed the story of Nathan and Eliza because I love a good friends to lovers story.Nathan and Eliza are both new to San Francisco. They meet at work and become instant friends. This is the kind of friendship everyone longs for and everyone deserves to find. They are friends that essentially become family, being fully integrated into each other’s lives. They are closer than some couples, even sharing a bed. They are supportive of one another and love each other beyond measure. And they probably would have become a couple ten years earlier except for the fact that Nathan is attracted to men. That little fact cemented that this relationship would live in the friend zone.But fate has other plans. Nathan starts to find himself physically attracted to his best friend in ways he never anticipated. He becomes possessive and jealous. He also experiences confusion about things he believed about himself. Eliza has always found Nathan attractive but, when he told her he was gay, she put those feelings aside. Now, she has to deal with her resurgent emotions and new feelings of insecurity.Nathan and Eliza’s relationship was full of love and passion, both as friends and lovers. It was fun to see their banter with one another. And there were great steamy moments. This book will definitely make you smile and cheer for Nathan and Eliza.

La premisa del libro parecia muy interasante y tiene una buena historia, pero la ejecución no fue la mejor. Todo por mala comunicación hizo dar vueltas y momentos innecesarios entre los personajes. Este fue un libro de 2.5 estrellas para mí.

O livro é longo. Mas faz total sentido. É uma jornada. Intenso. Cenas de sexo são excelentes. Gostaria apenas que tivesse cenas ou explorasse mais a sexualidade do Nathan

Eles são ótimos amigos, mas com uma co-dependência doentia. Quando viram namorados, é um relacionamento bem tóxico. Eles adoram se machucar propositadamente. O bom é que eles percebem isso e melhoram. E as cenas picantes fazem valer a angústia excessiva.

Most such books are just plain erotica. I couldn't sit through 5 chapters from this author in a previous outing( despite all the positive reviews) and I thought I am not going to read anymore of her works again. Sorry but true. I still went ahead blindly as this one was the next in my reading list, and boy! I loved it. This book wasn't about a lust fest right when eyes meet. This book was quite thoughtful. It even touches up a very key element in relationship - communication, apart from All the Sex. Less than half way through I thought the happy ending is here, now it will be all boring steamy stuff but to my surprise an important and beautiful side to the story unfolded slowly page by page. This book is one of the best from recent times. I couldn't put it down whole night. Read for 9 hours straight. That's how good it is. I may even buy this book. I only hope the author gives more such stories where it's just not just sex but real deep messages as well. I loved the two main characters and their amazing chemistry. I also liked the character Brooke,the leading lady's friend .. Wish I could read how her story turns up. She seemed really interesting as well . Overall, superb read!

Couldn’t put it down. Such a fantastic read and I felt such emotion when Eliza and Nathan split. Honestly loved the little look into their life years on.
