Baxton Studio Dauphine 31.5-inch W x 10-inch D Console Table, White and Light Brown (111-6028-HiT)

I've been searching for a narrow cabinet / table with at least 1 drawer to utilize as a "drop zone" by my back door. The area I've placed it in is just a small hallway and this console table does the job well. You can still walk thru the area without it feeling crowded. Very easy to assemble, pretty heavy duty feeling as well. No, its not a solid oak piece of amish made furniture, but I didn't expect it to be. I'm very pleased with the quality and look of the item and am super happy it isn't just some lightweight piece of particle board with a thin paper "finish". The white color on it is a thick coat of a matte looking paint. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cute piece for a narrow area in their home.

I LOVE this little accent table. I use it for all of my little items that are usually piled up on my kitchen island. It stores all of the magazines and books that I am currently looking at. The drawer holds my reading glasses, calculator, stamps, note pads and other items. It came very well packed and in perfect condition. Assembly was easy, took with very secure bolts. The top shelf is just slightly narrower than the bottom shelf so make sure that you put the right one in place. (the legs taper so the bottom shelf is a little wider.) I put two small adhesvie felt pads on the bottom of the front legs only so that the unit would tip back to the wall past the baseboard...it doesn't show and my pen doesn't fall off the shelf! The bottom shelves are reinforced on the bottom so they will hold all of my heavy reference books and magazines. The narrow depth makes it perfect for the spot that I needed it for. I am so happy with it and the price was very reasonable.I make miniature houses and I am even using the packing that the table came in...the corrugated cardboard protecting the shelves will make perfect siding and the styrofoam corner pieces will be used to construct the base of my outside chimneys!I don't have shabby chic decor, but it still looks cute and all of my magazines and research books are about shabby chic so it fits right in with the mood! LOVE IT!

The table it self is quite nice. The overall look is pleasant and practical. I like the small size and shopped for several days before finding just what I wanted in this table. I don't agree with any who says the assembly is "easy." There are only two numbered steps but many things that have to be just so. The legs had at least 3 little stickers with a letter and a number but they are not mentioned anywhere in the two steps. The two shelves are the same shape but not the same size and again this difference is not mentioned in the instructions. The smaller one fits closer to the top. Two of the four legs have a small metal bracket near the top of the leg that can be used to fasten the table to the wall as a safety measure. One of these two legs must go on the right and the other on the left but there are no markings to indicate which goes where. Pay close attention to the little drawings. It is much easier to attach 3 of the four legs with the table placed on its top and the drawer pulled most of the way out. When you have 3 legs attached, turn the table up on it's legs and attach the two shelves. Along the way I found several pieces that fit in the wrong place, hence trail and error was used. Don't give up and you'll end up with a really nice table.

Looks like quality furniture.

I needed a very specific piece of furniture for my office, and after looking at all the options, I settled on this piece. The very next day I found a nearly identical piece for $40 less!! I almost cancelled the order but after comparing, I decided I would give this one a chance. The weathering on this piece is so cute. It's so sturdy and easy to assemble, I really adore it and am quite pleased. The top is some kind of composite but it is really well made and very strong. It comes with wall fasteners as well, for safety. It took me about 30 minutes to put together. I would recommend you MAKE SURE the legs are in the right spots, otherwise you will have the weathering on the wrong side of the leg. All in all such a cute piece!

This (and the corresponding desk) arrived early though I live in SoCal and apparently these shipped from CA (from the seller I purchased from at least) Perhaps the short transit kept damage like some mention from occuring but my packages were damage - free. Easy to assemble and prettier than appears in pics. The one thing to keep in mind, it's small. I wanted small, I knew it was small when I ordered it but it's a little smaller than even I imagined looking at the dimensions. Again, that's what I wanted as a small shelf for my daughters supplies next to her desk. Because its so shallow if you're putting it against a wall and floor is carpeted it's going to sit a tad high in the rear with the carpet tacking so you need to place it at least an inch off the wall. Very pretty french/vintage/shabby chic finish. I'd buy again.

I love this little stand. I use it for the TV in my living room (43" flat screen), and the style and size fit perfectly. I put it together myself in about 25 minutes, it was super easy and straight-forward. I have a smaller sized apartment, so be sure to pay attention to the dimensions to make sure the size is right for the room you envision putting it in, but I highly recommend the product for quality, sturdiness, and style. It took me a long time to find the perfect fit for this piece of furniture (it's a central point of the room, so I wanted it to be cute), and I finally found it with this stand. Totally worth the money (it's actually a steal at this price...shhh ;-)

While it was a little pricey for its size I do love it and it's hard to find a nice narrow shelf. This one fit the space perfectly and the antiqued look matches my other furniture. Arrived quickly and undamaged. Yes it would be nice if the drawer was on a track, or had something to prevent it from coming out if you pull too far but it's hardly a deal breaker.

This is by far the nicest table. It's very sturdy and well mad. Live it.

Well made and perfect for our hallway.

Very nice table, looks good and feels solid.Two things though that I find were disappointing:1. Unpacking/Unboxing took as much time as assembling, but on the positive side very little chance of it being damaged during transport. I mean it was packed solid.2. One of the screws or hooks for the shelf was crooked, I managed to macguyver something to make it work.Otherwise, pretty happy with this purchase.
