Sony DVD+R 4.7 GB Printable Recordable DVD's - 100 Disc Spindle Pack

I only use Sony CD's & DVD's for all of my projects, and I have never had a disc fail on me yet. I have used 100's of Sony printable CD's, but this was the first time trying the printable DVD's. I have an Epson Stylus Photo R1900 inkjet printer and these discs work fabulously on it. The discs come out already dry to a light touch; and completely dry in a very short while. It's always important to adjust the printer settings before hitting "Print".I highly recommend these discs. These arrived in four 25-count spindles, which is not what's advertised and pictured on the site, but I'm okay with it. The spindles were taped together and adequately packaged to avoid shifting around during shipment.

I am a part time photographer and wanted a nice disc to present to my clients. I read the reviews of all the different brand choices. This seemed as safe a bet as any. I haven't been disappointed. That's not to say that I haven't had duds but no more than is to be expected. They print beautifully (my printer is an Epson Artisan 730) and dry quickly. I am very happy with this product!!

I ordered the 100 Disc Spindle Pack of Sony DVD+R. After quite a wait for the product, I finally received my order. However...not as I had ordered. I received four 25 Disc Packs instead of the 100 spindle pack. Obviously they were out of stock of what I had ordered. Instead of asking me if four 25 packs would be ok as a substitute, they were just sent to me with no explanation. I should have been consulted. If I have a choice in the future, I will not even order anything from this company. I am very unhappy!

I would have preferred the old style nonprintable surface, but this was the only Sony DVD product I could find. This Sony media don't fail.

In earlier times, it was a crap shoot when you burned a CD or DVD (insert tired joke about drink coasters). With MP3 players and video streaming, I only use these to make backup copies before I free up hard drive space (larger, very reliable drives may even change this soon). I still burn 2 backup copies, as it's not a perfect world, and scratches happen. More than once, I've been able to smugly dig out backup copy 2 and restore something that would have otherwise been lost. Just sayin'.But no matter what you're burning, you want reliability. You can buy cheaper, no-name crapolla and you may never have an issue. On the other hand, you just know that if you do have a problem, it will come at the very worse time. So why not do yourself and favor - spend a little more money and get a brand name synonymous with quality. You'll never regret it and it just might save your caboose one day.

I bought these a while back and they were shipped in a big box with a few air bags inside which were way too small to be effective. When it arrived the disc packaging had opened up and the discs were all over the place in the box. I put them back on the spindle and didn't think much of it really since none of them were actually broken. Well...I didn't need to use these until I used up my supply that I already had, and when I finally needed them, they didn't work. The first half of the disc can be recorded on but the second half doesn't work at all. Apparently they were damaged from tumbling around loosely in the box during shipping and by the time I needed them it was too late to return them. I don't recommend this vendor due to improper packaging destroying the merchandise.

I've been using these DVD's for 5 years and never had any problems with them.
