The suction power on this thing will suck away the Bissell crosswave. This thing is far superior to the name brand crap and the roller actually sits a little lower than The Bissell does so it actually scrubs like it should. The self-cleaning mode is also better than the Bissell.

I asked my friend who's been cleaning houses for years for a multi-surface floor cleaning machine recommendation, and she recommended this product because:- It consistently does a great job vacuuming and mopping every hard floor surface type (she has cleaned them all)- It handles pet hair and dander like a champ, and you can manually increase and decrease the suction power as needed, so no need to separately sweep the dust bunnies before cleaning- It's lightweight, cordless, and cute- The multi-surface roller brush has a surprising amount a of scrubbing power; for dried on messes, I first spray any I find directly with diluted castile soap in a spray bottle, and then they're easy for the machine to clean the time I roll over them- The customer service is excellent; my friend first had the 1st generation of this machine (this product is the 2nd generation, I believe), it stopped working after a few uses, and the company sent her a new one right away -- no hassles- The used resale value of these machines is great; I think it's due to how easy it is to keep it clean between uses because of the really efficient self-cleaning function (my friend sold her 1st gen machine at a price that paid a great deal toward the cost of this 2 gen machine...yep, she's on her second one!)Here's a tip for a natural floor cleaning solution: Pour about 1 inch of white vinegar into the cleaning solution canister and fill the rest up with room temperature water (use distilled if your tap water is too hard or soft). Put any soap you want to use in a separate spray bottle and apply it directly on the floor to use it, not in the cleaning solutions canister -- soap in the canister makes the solution too sudsy, the canister hard to clean, and it can clog the cleaning solution sprayer.Happy cleaning!

Lasted 2 months, this manufacturer pressured me into giving this unit a 5 star, HOWEVER…now when I try and use it, it overheats, smells like something is burning. In addition, this never worked correctly!! Do nit purchase. I’m trying to send this back and get a refund.

I used this one time & it worked fine. I followed all the instructions. The second time I went to use the vacuum it keeps telling me to empty the dirty water tank or to fill clean water tank. The dirty water tank is clean & the clean water tank is full but it still wouldn’t work. I tried recalibrating it but it didn’t help. They are suppose to mail me a new dirty water tank but it still has not arrived & I only have a week left to return the vacuum if it doesn’t work :/ I don’t want to be stuck with a $200+ broken appliance if something fails.

Update: I am updating my review from three stars to four, because of the amazing customer service experience I just had. A few weeks after posting this review, the company reached out to me and offered to replace the entire unit. I have never had that happen before, especially after a return window had closed. The fact that this company went out of its way to make the issue right really impressed me, and now knowing that I would definitely be willing to purchase another product from them.Original review: I waited a few months to write this because I wanted to see how long it lasted. With the first few uses this was so awesome. We have dogs so I always vacuum before using this because it definitely can’t act as a regular vacuum cleaner. But it was awesome to have a cordless automatic mop that did a really good job cleaning. Then after probably the 10th use I started noticing that the mop didn’t pick up dirty water very well, and was leaving streaks behind. I was making sure to clean and maintain it after every use just as the manual said to. So over time it’s definitely not durable. Today it would not pick up any dirty water and then started leaking. So after a promising start, this is just another expensive trip to the dump.
