Review after 4 years of use
I first ordered these wipes four years ago for use with our first baby, and just ordered a new pack for baby number 2. The good news about these is that in addition to being organic cotton, they are soft and a very good size for use with babies. Note that they are also the perfect size for a toddler to hold and use and wash themselves in the bath when they take an interest - my four year old still uses them. Having just received a new pack of these from Amazon, I can report that I see no change in quality since I first ordered these four years ago.As you can imagine, the set I have from four years ago have been washed countless times, yet they are still in good enough shape that I can use them for baby #2. One word of caution: These do fray around the edges after multiple washings, which is a shame. Still, the fraying is not so bad that I couldn't just snip off the stray threads from around the edges and continue to use them. I have yet to find a product from Under the Nile that I wouldn't want to recommend. Great products that stand the test of time.

Not the best for wiping bottoms
I purchased these wipes to try and cut down on the expense of pre packaged wipes and to reduce waste. I liked the fact that they're made of organic cotton but the wipes are pricey, almost $2 a piece, and they are definitely on the small side so I was disappointed when I received them. They are nice and thick so they do work for cleaning up number 2 messes but you'll need more than just one wipe for a bigger mess!We used these with plain water in a spray bottle, and worked well, but if our daughter had a diaper rash, they are not that great since the texture is quite rough. They are basically regular wash cloths but cut in the shape if a wipe. I don't use these much anymore, but if my daughter spits up we use them as spare rags which is a shame since we paid so much to use them as wipes.

Least Favorite Wipe
We use cloth wipes pretty much exclusively when we are at home, and I purchased several types before my son was born based on reviews and cost. These wipes are very rough compared to the grovia and organic magnolia wipes I purchased at the same time about 5 months ago, and they are smaller and hold less poop than the grovia wipes (grovia wipes are made of polyester, so there's that). The magnolia wipes are similar to a soft, thick cotton t-shirt and not absorbent, so I use them for pees only if I can help it. These also started fraying heavily at the edges within a couple of washes, and hold a funky odor when used in my Prince Lionheart wipes warmer (my cloth diapers don't smell and they are laundered at the same time, so it is not my washing routine). I've had to stop using them in the wipes warmer because they were making my other wipes and the warmer smell. I am still using then for washcloths, if needed, but am tempted to throw them away. I really like under the nile as a company, but these wipes kinda suck. I'm giving them 2 stars because I guess they technically work for wiping bottoms, I just don't care for them.

The best cloth baby wipes!
I poured over reviews about some wipes being too thin, one sided, too rough, not absorbent enough, unable to pick up "every poop particle" with one cloth, or made of poor quality. I knew very few things for certain, one of these certainties being that Under The Nile makes a QUALITY product. These are extremely thick, double sided, absorbent, and pick up all the poop my 16 month old (gigantic food monster) son can poop. As far as them being rough, they certainly aren't the silky thin sherpa cloths, but isn't that the point? It all depends on what you prefer, and what is best for your baby, but I'd say these are the BEST happy medium of all cloth wipe requirements. I've washed them and had no issues with quality or snags so hopefully they'll last me awhile, and I see no reason why they wouldn't! I use them in the Prince Lionheart Warmies Wipes Warmer which holds about 14-15 for me! Perfect for 3 or 4 days of wipes!

Like these over the others
I have tried Thirsties, flannel wipes, and other "two-sided" cotton wipes. I really like the Thirsties at first because they are so soft and cute, however after 5 months I only use them as wash cloths because they take up too much room in the warmer and the two sides move apart when wiping making it hard to clean. The flannel ones just don't get the mess off as well as I'd like but they don't take up much room and are inexpensive. Other cotton ones were rough and only one side was useful. The Under the Nile wipes however have everything I want. They fit in my warmer and I can fit about 18 in, they are soft and stay soft, they really are two sided so I only need one for even the biggest messes, they aren't extremely expensive. They are durable except you get some fibers coming off them sometimes. I have replaced all of my other wipes with these ones.

Perfect washable wipe- fits flat in warmer
Perfect fit for flat in my lion heart warmer… fray at the edges quite a lot at the start but after trimming the threads that has stopped. Have used them for at least a year so far and they're great! only have to use one or two at the most depending on the change. Have 30 or more which is always more than enough and i do not run out. Just what I was hoping to find in the search for the perfect washable wipe

Good product
Softer than some of the cheaper organic washcloths you can find on Amazon. Smaller size tan the normal square washcloths but that actually works for me because I used 2 for baby's bath time - one for his face and another for his body. Would prefer if there was a built in method to remove the tag without leaving that itchy little stub behind. The tag is pretty big considering how small the washcloths are.

Eh... depends on what you want them for, I suppose.
Personally, I bought these for skin care as I don't like the idea of just throwing away cotton balls or using an abrasive wash cloth. I thought these would be much softer. They are a little softer than my wash clothes, but not much softer. I purchased a different brand and they are much more comfortable to use. I think these may end up in the rag bin.
