I use these for poaching eggs. They are a little shallow for that purpose if using large eggs, but fine for medium. Good quality mesh that stays in shape when scrubbed clean, the sieve seems well made with no difficult edges or loose bits.I haven't actually used these for straining tea...

Bought it as a replacement to my old strainer that managed to get rust on it.. oops.This one is perfect, although a bit on the expensive side but you get two instead of one!

This is very useful to strain very fine tea leaves and much more suitable than a normal tea strainer which left leaves floating on the surface. I recommend this product.

Perfect size for sitting over a large mug. Nice idea to sell as a pair. Goes through the dishwasher okay without rust developing. Apparently sturdy although it's only been a few weeks since purchasing. Only time will tell whether they will survive my hubby's heavy handed tea making. 😉
