I used this product a week ago and used it for the first time last night.I realized a weakness of the unit within minutes of use.Your first instinct is to put the unit all the way in, to get the food over the flames, then put the lid down, to maintain temperatures .... WRONG MOVE!!The lid burned/melted the rubber handle on both sides. THE HANDLE LENGTH and Locking Mechanism Tabs NEED TO BE EXTENDED 5"- 6" MINIMUM!!Of course, that means the handle can no longer be folded into the unit, for storage .... without increasing the size/length of the unit. (See attached pic)

I think that calling it "Non Stick" is somewhat of a stretch... It's reasonably non-stick - even when you generously apply olive oil to your fish. We also tried it with spray-on coconut oil and had slight sticking as well.I did learn a good lesson! Fish will slide out the sides when you're flipping the basket over!! Our "fix" was to put small binder clips on each side of the basket. They hold the sides firmly closed.

It is very nice. I like it but cleaning is very difficult

My daughter gave us one just before we left on our 4 month road trip as we were planning to do a fare amount of camping. We use it to grill perfect vegetables and seared steaks and fish over an open fire. The expandable feature works to keep the food from sliding around. The folding handle works well for slim storage. We are buying a second one for the grill at home.

Broke on first use.
