Q: How is the sole heel support for workers that stand the entire day?

I bought this shoe several times when I was still working in the hospital laboratory and standing all day. I highly recommend it for that purpose. Now that I have arthritis in my feet, these are the only shoes that successfully keep me pain-free.

Q: Are they a lightweight shoes?? Plus are they good for bunions ????

Since it's a leather sneaker they are not as lightweight as a nylon sneaker, but the solid comfort makes up for the heavier shoe. I have a huge bunion on my right foot and it never bothers me in these sneakers. Because of the bunion I usually have to buy a wide in any shoe I wear for an extended time, but because New Balance seem to run wider than other brands I can wear a 9B all day without feeling any discomfort. I love these shoes.

Q: What is the difference between this model and the 608v4, which is marked "Unavailable". Can I switch and expect the 604v5 to fit the same way?

No. These run smaller and I think narrower. I ordered 7.5 and had to return them for an 8.00. They were just as narrow as the smaller size so ordered wide. Once you get the correct fit, they are great.

Q: The description says CrossFit, are these good for high impact workouts?

I use them for walking only now but used to do aerobics with my first of three pairs.

Love the shoes

The shoes are perfect - although I don’t have them.I didn’t have a pleasant experience with the seller. They sent the wrong size and in the end I returned the shoes with a lot of hassle.
