BioBagStandard Pet Waste Bags (6 Pack)

I have been buying these for years and have always been satisfied. However, this latest batch - 6 boxes of bags - is entirely defective. They seem to be made of a new material now in 2019, a material that is not at all sturdy. The bags can't be opened without tearing them. If you are able to open one of the bags, probably after you've already torn 3 or 4 of them, the bag will shred when you put your hand inside it. Maybe you get lucky and get your hand inside the bag without it tearing, go ahead pick up your dog poop - Now is when the bag will definitely tear.I have been buying these bags because they are supposed to be the best in terms of biodegradability. I'll have to look elsewhere going forward. I'm not kidding when I say that every bag in the 6 boxes i recently bought are defective. Complete waste of money.

I've purchased this brand for years because it's a "bio" bag. I'm sure I always buy the same brand, because the package looks the same. But I think the product inside the box has changed ... ?First they were black, which is nice. Then they changed to medium green. Shows the yuck a bit more than a black bag when you are walking home. The latest order has kind of see-through, lighter green bags. Still does the job, but not as nice. If anyone knows how to find the original product (black bio bag made from corn), please comment.Other thing to know is that this is not a roll, which is a plus IMO. It's a flat stack of bags with a tab top that hangs all 50 neatly on one hook inside my coat closet. I can just tear off one or two before the walk.

I have been using these BioBag pet waste bags for years and intend to continue to do so. It has always been a reliable, eco-friendly product.I’m not sure if this most recent order was a bad batch or if it’s related to the conditions the vendor stored them in, but on 3 consecutive walks the bag disintegrated in my hand upon pickup, leaving me with dog poop smeared all over my fingers :(Fool me three times is a shame on me. The first time I thought it was a fluke, the second a problem and the third I forgetfully/regretfully went on autopilot when walk time came. I inspected others from the shipment upon returning home and all had the same issue.So this is normally a great product — just be sure to inspect for strength before use to avoid my stinky fate.

So I will say, if you buy them in bulk, like I do, and they get wet at all when in storage, they will degrade and you will lose some of them. So don't order too many, I guess, or take really good care of them until you use them! But I have two dogs and we walk religiously and I am religious about picking up their poop, and this is all I have ordered for the past probably four years. I moved to an island in Alaska briefly and this is one of those necessities I stocked up on before I left, just in case, if that tells you anything. You won't be disappointed!

As a 14 year greyhound mom, I've gone through a whole lot of poop bags. And these are the only ones I've ever used because they're strong, spacious, simple and they're made out of corn so they naturally biodegrade in just a few weeks.And if that's not enough to sell them, I don't know what is.

My own fault that I didn't check the bag dimensions more carefully. If you have a large dog, you will benefit from a larger size. Good for small jobs, but I was hoping to use for cat litter box clean out and trash pick up while hiking. These are not super sturdy, but acceptable for now.

This product used to be phenomenal, but the material has obviously changed.Every single bag rips in multiple places just from being pulled loose from the roll and sticking a hand inside. They are completely shredded before I can even think about using one to pick up a poop.I am so disappointed. Would happily become a customer again if the company switched back to using the original effective material.

I found the bags smaller than I was used to, and they don't have a hanger. Picking them out of the box was somewhat annoying as they tend to stick together. They are not awful to use, but less convenient.
