I find these easy to use
Works well... a lot more convenient that burning a CD/DVD and bring a DVD player.I find these easy to use. I tape the player to the back of the LED Monitor. I canset it up to auto play when it is powered up....So, it easy to setup to autoplay..Will use either a thumbdrive or a SD card.I also found it easier to change the mp4 file than it is to wait for it to burna DVD. ...

this is the second time that I ordered this device ...
this is the second time that I ordered this device and both times it came with the wrong power adapter fitting, the adapter male side of the plug is too big for the device. I thought that the first time was just a mistake but now it happened again.

Good value
Pros:Supports a wide range of video formats and resolutions as well as output formats.CVBS and Y/Pb/Pr outputs.Fast bootup and simple navigation. Can easily copy and delete large filesCan actually do 1080p60Works well for the priceCons:Power supply NOT INCLUDED (3.5mm barrel) They could of easily made this with a Micro-USB port since it's 5V but NOPE. CableDeconn USB A to DC 3.5 mm/1.35 mm 5 Volt DC Barrel Jack Power Cable AV breakout cable NOT INCLUDEDCheap looking generic menusThe "Autoplay" feature is not well thought out. To automatically play something on start up you have to delete every other video in the folder.Struggles with video bitrates higher than 5MB/s

MINi HD Media Box - Wrong size power connector
This media player is very similar to another model I purchased many years ago. It’s fine. It plays a decent range of media types. My primary application is for halloween video projections. The only issue is that it comes with the WRONG POWER CONNECTOR. The player takes a small diameter connector, but they ship a ‘standard’ 5.5x2.5mm barrel connector. Luckily, I had an extra 5v power supply with the correct connector. I doubt most people will have the right size lying around.

Get something else
Received it in the mail, didn’t even come with the right plug in dc adapter, it didn’t fit. When I finally found the right one, plugged it in and nothing, don’t waste your time. Then, no exchange available, not happy with product or sevice.

it can be a very handy super portable device that's easy to carry around
It's OK. On the plus side, it's small and it features a decent array of input and output options. The Achilles heel is definitely the controller which has proven to exceptionally fiddly/touchy. Some of the buttons have to be firmly pressed, but the power on/off button is something else. If you press too hard the unit turns on then off again withing 10 seconds. You have to do it just right for it to stay on. And a lot of the controls indicate there is no function for it on various screens, which would be as expected, but the instruction manual that come with it reveals very little on what everything does and how it works, or how to recover in case you set the wrong mode. The manual was definitely written by a writer whose primary language was definitely not English. And I would imagine that if you loose or misplace the controller you will be out of luck if the seller can't be contacted or the unit has been superseded by a new model. My advice would be to get a decent TV box for about the same price that accepts a mouse/keyboard input as well as a dedicated controller unless you absolutely need something this small and/or know that you won't loose or misplace the controller (e.g. no kids or other users that may break it or make it disappear). However, if you are willing to mess around with it, figure it all out and have your stuff on a suitable USB or SDcard, it can be a very handy super portable device that's easy to carry around.

lasted less than a year
worked for for about 8 months. Now packed up. Not worth the warranty.

Buyer Beware
Slow interface, fussy remote and doesn't play MKV files as advertised.
