I wore my Halo ice skating today. I saw a woman fall & smack her forehead on the ice pretty hard. It reminded me why I bought the halo. It’s so easy to do.

I got it for my disabled niece who is unsteady on her feet. She wouldn’t wear it despite multiple tries. I adopted it to wear when hiking on steep rocky trails. Not exactly built for that purpose but it does give some protection and doubles as a sweat band.

Daughter and coach say they don't do any good for concussion prevention

The Unequal Halo sounded like it might be ideal for my 94 year old Mom as she was bumping her head. It just didn't work for her as she could not tolerate it on as it was uncomfortable over her ears, too rigid and too heavy for her. She frequently wears a baseball type cap, so I thought she'd like this. We got a small and it was sizedright for her, but was $44 down the drain, a disappointment as I didn't get an impression by advertising or reviews of any discomfort. Well made, just not for Mom as it was off her head as quickly as it went on.
