Waste Collection Unit Compatible for Sawgrass SG400 SG800 SG500 SG1000 Ricoh GC41 Printer

We installed this which is just a matter of taking the old one out and putting the new one in.Appeared to work as the warning went away, but two days later it came back. I didn't noticewhen I bought it that it was a "reman". not sure if that was the problem or was it a bad product.Our printer is now unable to print because of the bad maint box and we can't find anyone to workon it yet! Even the GeekSquad won't look at it. Not sure what our next step will be. This printeris used for my husbands job and he is currently printing to mine! It is barely just over a year old. Ourprinter is a WF4740

I knew printers took paper and ink and with both, they would print whatever one liked to see.Using this item on an Epson ET-4760 multifunction printer that suddenly flashed that it needed some box to be changed? Huh? Thing has a toilet or what?Yes, printers seem to have a place to put the ink when you go through the cleaning cycle and it can get full if you clean too much. The OEM box had been hiding there inside the case and I never even knew. I suppose it is mentioned in the Printer manual. Being a guy, I never read those things of course!The item came well packaged so nothing was broken. Removing the old tank was easy and sliding this one in was as simple.So far, no ink sees to be spilling from the printer and the complaint box that ratted out the first box seems to have departed.

I installed this maintenance box and tried to run the deep cleaning procedure. The printer said that the maintenance box was not recognized and would not run. I tried several power cycles and attempts to run the power cleaning but to no avail. I suggest you buy elsewhere.

I picked this waste collection unit for my Sawgrass SG500 and it was a perfect direct replacement.I was a little surprised by the "warning" about the waste tank (1 thing i was not aware of). Finally jumped online to order and came across this item. My Biggest worry was if my sg500 would pickup/detect the new collection unit since its not OEM... This is a lifesaver for anybody who does sublimation printing with an Epson printer. I have no idea if it fits more than one brand or if it’s only Epson, but this fits my Epson printer like a glove and save the life of my printer. It’s a very inexpensive fix that will double or triple the life of your printer.Just because it does not say Epson on this product don’t worry it will work! I actually should order more of these to have on hand so that when I fill up my other ones, I already have them on hand don’t have to wait for them to arrive either which way it’s super fast shipping so I won’t be out a pretty long
