FaceTory Dream Garden Chamomile Waffle Sheet Mask (Pack of 5)- Jelly Essence, Hydrating, Soothing, Nourishing

This mask did not match the description or the user photos. I was incredibly confused.I have tried Facetory masks before (love “Glow Baby Glow”) that were waffle with jelly-type essence. But this one…wasn’t. It’s cotton with a pattern on it. The essence is more liquid not at all like the jelly I was expecting. The mask tingled a little bit (kind of like a mint). I thought it was a fluke but I opened another one & it’s the same cloth with watery essence (not waffle cloth & jelly).Turns out I was sent the wrong product… “Elderflower”. Returning now! Hopefully will get the right one next time. Looking forward to the waffle/jelly style sheets.

The mask material is nice; not sure if the waffle style really makes a difference; lots of serum, but it burned just a bit on my skin.

Following a super busy and stressful pre-holiday season, I committed myself to doing 5 days of intensive skin care to give myself back some of the time I'd lost taking care of my skin during the last few weeks of holiday prep. I used these masks during that 5 day pampering period and let me tell you, they really do rock. After every mask, my skin was progressively more and more buttery soft - by the end of the treatment period my skin was glowing like it should be and looked far less holiday-exhausted than my body still felt.The scent is light, I won't say it's particularly pleasant or luxurious - maybe more earthy - but not aggressively unpleasant or in any way negative enough to discourage use of the mask. There is no lingering scent, either - once the essence has dissipated, my skin took on the fragrance of whatever I used following the mask.As for the effect, I definitely feel this product is super hydrating and luxurious, very pampering and there is a lot of extra serum to distribute over neck, shoulders, and chest. Since I have to chill for about 20 mins and let this mask do its work, I usually take that time to dermaroll and micropulse the serum in my neck/shoulder/chest area, then repeat on my face once the sheet mask is finished. The result is an indulgent, skin-restorative experience that rivals a spa facial - for the cost of a sheet mask. These masks were a great part of that process because the jelly essence gave plenty of slip for the dermaroller to glide easily over my skin and offered tons of hydration for my freshly-pricked, dermarolled skin.I super recommend these as a gift for your favorite skin care enthusiast, or for your own next at-home spa day experience! Very indulgent and moisturizing at an incredibly valuable price point.

“Calm angry” skin it says - normally I would’ve been like what... but having mask chaffing my face all day, I think I get it. My pissed off face has angry skin, yes, and this mask from Facetory helped to calm it down. It’s very gooey with lots and lots of the liquid stuff in it. The mask is like a gauze with a bunch of clear thick liquid on it, and doesn’t have too much scent though you can smell things like camomile on it. There was so much stuff left in the envelope I just put it all over my body. After 15 min, I took it off, pat the stuff down, though it stayed wet and tacky for a while longer. Afterwards my skin feels taught, smooth, and as if the pores are tighter, though I don’t think that was one of the purposes. It comes in a clear bag and no box so not fit for gifting as a set, maybe as individual packets.

This mask has no backing and was a little trickier to get separated from itself than other masks I've tried. It is soaked with a LOT of serum. It sticks to my face very well and didn't slip around even while I chased my toddler. After removing the mask at about 20 minutes the mask itself was still very soaked with serum, so much so that I was able to refold the mask and rub it on my entire body to hydrate all my skin. There was also a lot of serum left on my face, like way too much to be able to absorb in. It also had changed it's consistency to a very thick gel. I gently wiped the excess off, leaving an appropriate amount that could absorb in and I rubbed the excess from my face on more of my body. I did love the results that I saw immediately after removing it, my skin was very moisturized and all the fine lines from my skin being dry were gone and even my deep lines (like my crows feet) were less pronounced. The only thing I didn't like was that it left my face feeling pretty tacky for about an hour until it all finally absorbed in and my skin felt soft and smooth. Knowing that I might stick to using these at night instead of in the morning even though I don't wear make up so it's really not that big of a deal for me.These come in nice individual packages with English so it would definitely work to gift them individually.
