You wouldn't say it's all plastic and half of the shelf looks more like cardboard than wood.Assembly has been as easy as playing LEGO and so similar to it, to be honest.If I had known the structure was not metal, regardless of the nice result, I'm not sure I would have paid as much as I did for it.It's worth the decor, but not the materials.I keep it 'cause it perfectly matches my oak and metal desk... if you don't focus on details.

I can't really fault these shelves. For the price they're fairly solid, we're easy to assemble and do exactly what I want them to.Granted if something knocks into them they're likely to go down, but they're otherwise stable and frankly the only way I can see getting them to fall over is either intentionally or hitting them fairly hard.

Broken on arrival and cannot send back as too heavy for me to take to the post office and Amazon won’t arrange collection so stick with faulty item

Very easy to assemble and looks really nice despite the price .

The shelves look nice, although there are a number of issues: 1) packaging has no foam between boards and cardboard, three out of five arrived damaged; 2) it is extremely unstable, you probably have to anchor it into the wall in four places, you only get hardware for one place; 3) after assembly you realise how crooked the unit is!
