Battlefield 1942: Deluxe Edition - Mac

This game is old, but like pac man, it's still great fun. There is a lot of fun to be had on multiplayer, and with mods that can be downloaded there is still more fun. I recomend downloading Forgotten Hope, and Desert Combat. Forgotten Hope may not be out for Mac, but if you decide to run boot camp and play it that way, all the better.

This Mac game is a "classic" but it is dull by today's standards. It is difficult to enjoy this type of game having played such awesome modern games. I could only recommend it for the beginner to gaming, such as my 78 year old dad. Still, beginners start with much better games these days. It is MUCH better on PlayStation.

I just bought a Mac so I needed to update my battlefield.. So I got this Mac Compatible game that doesn't work on my mac. So the problem is the Mac no longer supports the platform and that is more a complaint against Apple but what I bought is useless

I got the thing and after much calling about found out that the OS I have is too modern for this ancient piece of software. May the Apple gods have worms.

This game is funI had the demo before and I decided that it's not enoughthis version has many maps and it enables you to play it online where there are a lot of servers and playersI like the graphics , not bad at allyou can fly planes drive cars and tanks and use different weapons to lead your team to victoryI run it under Mac X OS 10.4.11

I have a MacBook Pro 2.66 Ghz, 4GB memory and the 9400 and 9400GT video cards. The problems with the game are it's very poor graphics, very poor gameplay and significantly limited scenarios. Your options in game play are constrained by the limited programming as are your ability to interact with other characters in the game. Save yourself the money and buy Call of Duty 2. It is vastly superior, but will require strict compliance with the recommended system requirements.

By far, one of the most entertaining and graphic-oriented game I have ever experienced. This is a very sharp game with an excellent story, amazing graphics and audio but most importantly a very addictive game. A must have for any FPS fan! I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Not an easy game for a complete amateur to master,but can fairly quickly get into it.Very good graphics.

Does not work on Mac! You must run power pc instead of intel. Macs do not run this anymore. You need to run boot camp and buy power pc to run it

Ich denke man kennt den Spielinhalt oder kann ihn sich vorstellen: ballern im Krieg und die Fahne des Gegerns erobern. Grafik ist in Ordnung aber kein brüller. Spielspaß eher beim Netzwerkspiel mit Freunden gegeben - ansonsten wirds auf dauer eher langweilig. Man kann das Spiel auf jeden Fall immer immer wieder mal auskramen.
