Made in Japan Lucky Cat 7.5'' Tokoname Porcelain White Maneki Neko Right Hand

My bf owns a business. He said he wanted a “lucky money kitty” after seeing the Kotobuki Maneki Nekos I keep at my house.There is a coin slot on the back to use as a bank. He is rather large and I liked the collar deco better than others I’ve seen. I do agree with another reviewer that it is a little overpriced for what it is but maybe because it is an authentic product of Japan?? I do wish the coin retrieval hole on bottom had something you could plug to use again instead of essentially paper covering it. Does not detract from purpose and look. He said he “feeds” him coins into the coin slot in differing amounts depending on how much he earned him that day. I thought he was being ridiculous but his sales have gone up so 🤔

It was a present for my wife, and she loved it.

I bought this as a gift but when I opened the box, I wanted to keep it for myself! It's very pretty and I even enjoyed touching the porcelain as it's so smooth. I may have to buy one for myself! I've seen many Maneki Neko cats over the years, but this one by far is the most beautiful. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this purchase. It was very well packaged to prevent any damage. I also consider the 7.5" to be the perfect size. Not too small, not too big. Thank you Amazon for offering the Tokoname Neko cat as I've been shopping for a while and looking at many websites. You have also saved me the wait it would have taken if this were shipped directly from Japan.

this guy is taking the place of an older maneki neko..a memorial to a loved cat...

My maneki neko greets me each time I come home !

I give this to my friends as a gift with a a note explaining about this cat. They are all owners of big and small businesses. They LOVE it and place it in their office or store!
