I meant to leave my review for this when I got this bag awhile back, but I'll leave it now since I'm coming back for more! If you're looking for a good, high quality gem paydirt, look no further. I opened this bag with my fiancé and we had so much fun sifting through and cleaning off the gems! We've been wanting to go out and try to find agates and and other gemmy rocks ourselves but haven't had much luck, so this bag was a perfect replacement experience. There's a very good mix of large and small gems in the bag too, but definitely read through everything provided first. It'll make your experience easier and more fun (like double sifting, not something you might think of but you should absolutely do this). I would say this is good for kids and adults, but when you child finishes sifting through the sand I'd look through it again as there can be some pretty small (and beautiful) crystals hiding away in the sand.All in all, amazing product full of beautiful raw gems fun for all ages!! Huge chunks of gemstones! lots of crystal points. So much fun. The was about half a gallon of “gravel” left over once all the gems were removed but the size of some of the gems made this worth the price. Will absolutely order over and over again!

I purchased a couple 8lb bags on a chance I would like to hunt through the bags this winter. And I was definitely not disappointed. I actually ordered more a ton more. And this wonderful small business contacted me personally updated me on my order actually including some nice gifts. Wow. I highly recommend them. And just check out the beautiful stones I have received, and I still have my bonus bags to go through. If you love to sluce stones or have kids that like stones. Don't hesitate buy this you want be disappointed.

The recipient loved sifting through the rocks and picking the ones they liked but I was kinda disappointed with the amount of rocks provided. There was a lot of gravel and a couple of rocks. Overall I was happy they liked their present but for almost $100 I could’ve given way more individual rocks.

Took me a long time to go through the entire bag and it was so much fun. I’ve bought similar items on Etsy and this one had so many more rocks. Love the identification chart, it will be even more fun to go through and identify some of these!

This product is absolutely worth every penny. As you can see in the pics, there are a ton of gems and all unique. I would highly recommend this for everyone, but especially for those who want to have a fun learning activity with kids. Even the “regular” brown stones can be put to use, as I created a cactus garden with them. I’ve got bamboo coming in the mail to make a bamboo garden next. I cannot wait to order my next bag(s).
