Warped and splintered
I was excited to receive this board to use for charcuterie. The size and slight raised edges made it perfect for what I was looking for. Villeroy and Boch used to be a high quality brand of table and serve ware, but this board disappointed. It was warped and did not sit flat on the counter. And there was a spot where the grain was lifting and flaking off in tiny splinters. The only reason I gave it 2 stars vs 1 star is that the grain was pretty. It looked really nice, just poor quality workmanship.

Defekt zugeschickt worden (Absicht?)
Ich frage mich allen ernstes wer das versendet hat. Da wurde mir mit voller Absicht ein Teller zugeschickt wo ich durchgucken an, so groß ist der Spalt. Der zweite Teller ist völlig in Ordnung, echt ne Frechheit.

Poor finish.
Not as picture. Came with marks and blemishes in the wood. Did not use as it was such poor quality.
