they are definitely not a perfect replacement
I bought these to fix my xbox one S controller. While they do work, they are definitely not a perfect replacement. Somehow, they actually changed the deadzone box from a "circle" to a "square" which can throw off aim if put on the right stick. The "click" when depressing the stick is also less crisp than the stock joystick. Finally (not a con for me, but it may be for you) the force needed to move the stick is higher than the stock ones. Externally, it looks identical. It'll definitely get the job done but buyer beware yours might end up acting different than your old one.EDIT: Upon closer inspection, they're not identical to the modules you get out of the controller. the part that rotates on the green side is white and not black like the picture indicates.

Fixed my problem but caused another
The problem with my controller was it wouldn't return to center I don't know if it was trash under from pieces breaking but it was a problem none the less. So after messing around with it I realized a module was needed, with some research I found you don't have solid options they all are a crap shoot. After soldering the replacement in and putting it half way back together I found I now have really bad drift. Luckily I remembered someone mentioning the crap potentiometers most the replacements (green ends) have and me not wanting to try my luck with the second module I desoldered and snapped on the green ends from the original, soldered it back and presto good as knew. So the moral of the story is if you already have drift problems you are rolling the dice of if it will be fixed or made worse. Also who knows how long it will really last ☹️

Very disappointed
I needed to replace my right stick because it had alot of drift. I bought these and soldered them in and couldn't even aim it was so bad. These analog sticks have a massive dead zone to them and you can only look around at 8 points (up/down left/right and diagonally) On top of that, it accelerates immediately when you look around in a game. Sad part is I had better aim with my other stick that would drift up and down :/

Too large a deadzone for precision movement
Movement is smooth, but the dead zone is too large to truly replace a failing controller stick. Used on an Xbox elite pad, and where the remaining original stick is hair-precise, this one must be moved at least 3 mm before it starts to register. Fine for rpgs, narrative games, or adventure, but unfeasible for shooters, drivers, or Dark Souls-like titles.

They kinda worked
I order these to replace both analog stick in my original Xbox One controller. The Left stick never returned to center & the Right has a slight drift. The one I used for the Left works great, the other I used to replace the Right was actually worse the original.I went from Drifting forward to spinning in circles LOLI'm going to solder the original one back in & send that one back. Good luck to future buyers

More drift then I began with.
After spending hours painstakingly removing the old one and soldering in the new one this one drifts worst then the one I removed. Waste of money.

Junk
I had these taken to an electronics shop to replace my joysticks on my elite v1. I tried 2 sets, and both sets had AWFUL deadzones.

Could not adjust the sensitivity.
I bought this to replaced the analog stick on my Xbox controller. No matter what sensitivity you set it to, you will still turn at 1000fps
