Acer Swift 3 SF314-42 14 inch Laptop - (AMD Ryzen 5 4500U, 8GB, 512GB SSD, Full HD Display, Windows 10, Silver)

Noticeably quicker than my relatively new £1k+ Lenovo business laptop - this thing is fast! There is nothing I don't like about it.Keyboard back-lit, and very nice to use, as is the track-pad. Didn't go for Windows 11 although its capable - is an option on startup if you want it. I didn't ask Windows 10 to enable the fingerprint reader for login as I had read a few reviews that its not great; not an issue. Had also read that the screen brightness wasn't great; it is - its really nice. I read here that there was a major sound issue with this laptop and Im baffled. The sound is absolutely fine although it is a bit tinny - not an issue. If you are looking for immersive sound get a Bluetooth speaker and hook it up.For £500, this is an incredible pocket rocket. Its super lightweight, looks lovely, near silent and just excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

I rarely leave reviews but I felt I had to for this. I was already very stoked to come across the Swift 3 after searching for hours for a suitable laptop for gaming. Seeing it in real life and being able to test it has been just incredible. A super fast machine, cutting waiting times by over half the time. I am usually more of a casual gamer, but this laptop provides so much opportunity to expand my collection. Definitely recommend this if you're looking for the perfect balance between exceptional hardware and a slimline, neat and modern look.

Bought after lockdown when it became apparent that a busy family of 4 need an easy to use, portable devise for everything from school work to shopping.Used every day for Teams kids homework and work for the adults, well, my wife uses it for work, I use it for Championship Manager 01/02. It does have integrated Radeon graphics and although I don't use it for gaming, it does run games and steam but I think it would struggle with mid to high end modern games.But I digress, slick/fast laptop that does probably more than it says on the tin. No problems browsing at all, video wise it's not 4k but it still looks really nice for Netflix/amazon/Disney etc. Connecting to WiFi and bluetooth is flawless.The heaviest load it takes is when I'm designing stuff for 3D printing, bigger items do slow it somewhat but not anything that stops it working or being useful, just have to be patient when dealing with large scale 3D projects

Having purchased MS Surface Pro's & Dell on previous occasions decided that I needed a Change, I don't regret purchasing the acer swift. The keyboard feels great the resolution on screen is perfect even though I have been used to the 15.6" screen, I do not find the 14" screen has produced any disadvantages.Great Value for Money

This Pc arrived not working Acer support openly states there is a well-known problem with this Laptop for low sound volume. I went through the Acer driver config process and that did not work, the next step was to send the PC back to Acer. After speaking with Amazon they agreed to accept the return and then insisted I had to take the parcel to a Post Office, pay the postage myself and then they would refund me the postage as well. I asked that they send a courier but they refused to, so not only do a get a PC that has no chance of working but I have to make the extra effort to return the PC...never again will I buy a PC through amazon prime
