Extremely satisfied, I highly recommend
Absolutely fantastic, very satisfied, reduced vibrational noise from my desk substantially if not completely- very effective product. Fit my blue yeti nicely. Product seems to be holding the weight of the microphone without any issues, quality product for the price. I highly recommend, I've had a blue yeti for over 2 years now and I regret not buying this sooner....p.s. people seem to be buying this and are experiencing issues with their mic that is not the shock mounts fault (i.e. background noise, electrical interference hissing noise, screw not fitting, etc.) but none of those issues are due to the product being sold here. I knew exactly what i was buying before purchasing this and I am very happy with the results :)p.s.s. oh yeah I forgot to mention, I purchased the Aluminum version for $10 more, but I am under the impression that the plastic version will perform just as well and would be just as durable. at the time of my purchase it was pretty much 20$ vs 30$ and I figured I would be using this shock mount for the years to come so I just decided to drop the extra 10 for the aesthetics, but yeah sturdy plastic is actually very hard to break/crack without throwing it against a wall, so if you're shopping to get the cheapest setup possible then I would recommend the plastic version as it likely has equal results and durability, the only difference you're paying for is purely cosmetic.

Exactly what you think it is...
Just received it today and attached it to a cheap scissor-arm desk boom. It looks just like the picture shows and works as described. It's the better choice between the two options (other one holds it from the sides, also a shock mount). I have a White Blue Yeti mic that I've had on the base that came with the mic since I purchased it 2 years ago. Fits perfectly and definitely gets rid of the bumps and clacks that come from typing and clicking which reverberate off the desk and through the original stand into the mic. Now those same bumps and clicks are mere background noise. Just be aware that if you dangle this thing over your keyboard or mouse, it's still going to pick up that noise. Seems pretty obvious, but we live in a society where you have to have a child warning on a box of stickers so...There is a disclaimer in the box that says some Yeti mics have an odd-sized malformed mount screw hole which in some rare cases won't fit any standard 5/8" screw. Sounds like a manufacturing flaw. They mention that you can contact them to try and resolve the issue. I'm not sure what they will actually do - but the fact that they warn you about that in writing and offer to help with something that wasn't even their fault was legit good form and they have my respect for that even though it doesn't impact me at all.

Fits but still a little loose
I received the shock mount intact and in superb packaging. Nicely and safely secured. The shock stand did fit my Blue Yeti exactly. It is a 2014 edition, pics of serial number taken to help. The only issue I had was the mount was not very tight in securing the mic, and also the attachment piece that connects to the flexible arm was not very tight. If I want to have my mic hoizontal, the mount would loosen with the weight of the mic. The mic itself didn’t move too much positionally, and it did feel secure, but not as tight as I would have liked it to be for safety measures. As described in the 2 emails the seller sent, I know they described a solution to the mic not fitting as using Plumbers tape. I’m going 4 stars because the item is good quality and working, but docking a star because if plumbers tape is needed, it should be provided. The buyer should not have to deal with an ill fitted mount or have to spend extra money to ensure the item works. Also, I docked a star because there should be a disclaimer that says this item does not fit all Yeti mics, and if that’s a known issue then provide 2 separate mounting screws.Overall a good purchase with good quality, I will have to go spend some extra money to make this exactly how secure I would like it to be. I did enjoy the matted silver finish and the bungee cords did seem to be good quality for sound reduction. The tightening screw that bends the unit up and down works very well, was able to hold my mount in a horizontal position without much play.

Great Product! (Please Read All The Way Through)
* 1st off: THE FITTING ISSUE EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT IS A YETI MANUFACTURING DEFECT. THE SHOCK MOUNT IS MADE CORRECTLY. ( Sorry... i've just seen so many people complain about the fit and blaming these guys. They even sent me an email laying everything out even after i researched it. these guys are thorough. ) On To The Review!Mine Fits Perfectly! I Own the Yeti Pro. Luckily MyYeti Did Not Have The Defect.* This thing is Freaking AWESOME for the price! I would say....MAYBE my only complaint ( and this is solely based on me owning 1 single shock mount) that maaaybe the elastic is a bit too...tough...tight? maybe some softer elastic would help keep even more vibration from transferring. * BUT!! with that said, compared to just having the mic screwed in directly to the arm, I'd say ATLEAST 65% of the vibration from knocking the desk is removed. Pretty impressive as far as i know. shoot. just using the provided Yeti Stand is almost impossible if you have a Mechanical Keyboard.* Also, From all i have read, This Shock Mounts performance has pretty much the Exact same as the Blue's own shock mount - the Radius. which is what....over Twice the price? IF you have a Yeti, BUY THIS.* Honestly, i couldn't be happier with it. ^.^

best shock mount for the price
i’ve tested this on a few different mics and it works great, it’s sturdy, and it looks great. works especially good on the snowball ice and it actually does make a noticeable difference.

Robuste Mikrofonspinne
Der Artikel wirkt hochwertig und professionell. Durch die Bespannung wird das Mikrofon gut abgefedert. Die Seilqualität ist auch sehr hochwertig. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen, habe das Blue Yeti USB

Blue radius is recommended.
See thr size of auphonix as compared to blues radius shockmount. It is way smaller and broke easily.
