Not bad....Nat bad at all.
I don't know what the OEM version is like, but I was expecting something rather cheap and poorly made...SURPRISE!When I first opened this and examined it I first thought, this is pretty nicely made. It has an inner lining, it's thick, and it's fuzzy. What else do you need in a windscreen? Well, a tight and secure fit would be about it...And sure enough, this has that too.I've used it twice since getting it and it has out preformed all my other solutions completely! It doesn't get in the way of any buttons or the screen and it is lined to add more wind protection.I'm so glad I got this! You will not be disappointed.

Functions ok in a breeze. Not in a stiff breeze.
I'm new to this, but there is no way I was able to use the Zoom recorder outside without some sort of "dead-cat" thing. It makes wind noise even in a slight breeze. The furryhead works there, but when I was in a stiff wind in Chicago (of all places) this past weekend, it wasn't up to the task. I'm not sure any windscreen would have been up to the task.

H4N Windscreen 5D Mark II
This thing works great on the H4N. On calm days I'll just use the wind screen that came with the H4N but when the wind picks up a little I grab this furry one out of my bag and it hasn't let me down yet. Typically I have the 50mm f/1.4 and the hairs on it never get in the way. I'm curious to see if you'll be able to hairs when using a fisheye.

Not a great fit, but it does work, so I give it three stars. Seems to be very well made.

The Furry Windscreen for the Zoom H4n is awesome.
The Furry head windscreen works great on the Zoom H4n. We had an all day shoot outside in December where it was very cold and snowy. The windscreen worked perfectly and kept its shape and fluffiness in spite. Once inside, it dried out quickly. The sound files came out clean and with very little unwanted noise.It is also a perfect fit on the Zoom.

Great product!!
Haven't had this long but it is an amazing upgrade to the cheap little foam one that came with the H4n recorder! A must have for anyone that may record audio outside! Quality seems to be pretty good. No complaints, we'll see if I have any quality issues after I run it through the paces a few more times!
