The media could not be loaded.  The mask is bright and looks amazing from about 5 feet away (because of the LED spacing/resolution.) Still looks good closer up. There's a bunch of built-in faces and animations, plus it has several sound bar displays that react to music on your phone. Customizing includes text, editing, importing images and taking a photo and adding it. I wanted to add some custom faces and masks - you can have 20 of them. I simply went online and found my favorite anime and SF characters and snapped a photo with my phone. The results were fantastic.One downside - it's not that comfortable to wear and there's a narrow field of view. I can handle maybe 10 minutes at a time and find myself wearing it on the back of my head more than the front.

It worked for about 2 hours total and then started changing faces uncontrollably. It dies not charge with the cord it came with or any other cords. I basically wasted almost $100

I received a pair of "glasses" similar to this mask and played with them for a long time - they had an app with some preprogrammed designs that could be static or scroll across the "lenses" of the frames. You could also create some messages or designs yourself in the app. I thought they were so much fun! But because I'm older I decided to give them to my son who has both my grandchildren and let them play with the glasses He also loved them. I mention the glasses because this mask is very similar in how it works but since it covers my entire face, it's like SO MUCH MORE than the glasses! I love the creepy faces best of all - the Purge one is great as I have seen all the movies! It may be a while before these end up with my son and grandkids...I'm having way too much fun with this mask!

So, the effect is really cool, and everything. Overall, it's just, ridiculously cool. But this isn't about that, I'm going to keep this one short.If you wear glasses, FORGET IT. I could not use it unless I wanted to be practically blind. I love the overall design and operation of the thing. Mind did come with a "stuck pixel" on the screen. I don't know if any of you are aware of this, but sometimes you can gently massage a stuck pixel with your finger nail and sometimes it can be unstuck. I had 1 that was constantly on RED all the time. The other leds, the blue and green, were fine. But since they're not behind anything protective, really, but the plastic cover, I thought perhaps a little massage action would help and, low and behold I was able to fix it.So if you get one of these...you need to wear contacts, or nothing, or you're not going to love this. Sorry. And, beware of stuck pixels, but sometimes you can un-stick em, like I did with mine. Sometimes not. You just have to try, just be careful. Hope someone finds this helpful!

This face mask has to be one of the coolest new things I've had a chance to try out in some time. It is a pretty simple device -- it's a mask that has two eye holes you can see out of but others can barely notice and a mask with LEDs that show all sorts of interesting effects depending on the mask you're using.I have yet to use the mobile app but the mask itself comes preinstalled with a ton of faces so I haven't felt a need yet. You click the button on the top of the mask and it cycles through all of these animated faces such as funny eyes that move around, a jump scare face, fire effects, etc. It also has a sensor near the top of the head and moving your hand in front of it will cycle through the static face effects. We had some fun singing that song "New Face" while waving our hands in front of it and dancing.I think the best thing about this is the app though as it mentions you can put your own faces so we'll definitely be grabbing a few good ones for halloween this year. I'd highly recommend the mask. We're having a lot of fun with it and for the price it seems worth it given it's reusable across multiple occasions / needs and it won't get stale like most masks would.
