I am very pleased with my Kelley General Expandable, Flexible Garden Hose. It is very lightweight and easy to use; not like dragging around those other heavy hoses. It does not tangle or kink.The brass fittings are heavy and of good quality. The spray nozzle that was included has many different spray options, which I like. It performs exactly as described. I might add that the water pressure isn't as great as with a regular hose but certainly is sufficient.I was disappointed that it did not include a washer for the connecting end of the hose to the water source. I had to try several sizes before finding one that fit. Other than that, I am very pleased with the hose, and am planning to purchase another one.

When the hose is filled with water, and the valve on the hose turned off, I measured the hose at 43 feet. When you open the hose valve, as water flows through the hose, it shrinks to roughly 25 feet. Also, In order to prevent the hose from leaking, I had to add a rubber garden hose washer to the female end of the hose, which doesn't leave a lot of room for screwing onto the spigot, it was enough, and I had a hose washer on hand, so it wasn't a huge deal. But be aware of all these things when making your decision.

Look these expandable hoses are a great idea but their execution is utter trash. I don't understand how this product has so many 5 stars reviews. I bought the hose based on the reviews and product description. When the hose works it's great but be prepared for it to break within the first month of use. If you are unlucky it break on the 366th day of use and you'll be outside the warranty."NEW GENERATION KRYPTONITE STRONG" - wait doesn't kryptonite make superman weak? Where does it ever say kryptonite is strong. "It has the highest pressure and strength testing on the market today" damn the market must be in a sad sad state. Can you put the actual numbers like maybe 1 psi."LIGHTWEIGHT & INDESTRUCTIBLE" - lightweight yes indestructible ... no... it's just a balloon wrapped in some nylon rope."AVIATION ALUMINUM CORROSION RESISTANT FITTINGS" - ok yes it's aviation aluminum I can verify this because it flew very well when I threw it into the trash"DOUBLE LAYER LATEX CORE THREADING" - two balloons inside a nylon rope... wake up sheeple!"MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY" - the best feature of this product is that it comes with a warranty. Make sure you use it a lot during the first few months of ownership so that you don't get caught out on day 366.

The outer cover material looks durable enough to last a good while. My one observation is that it will coil and kink unto itself if it is not laid out first before turning on the water. Harder to uncoil when there is water pressure. It handles the pressure well enough but the plastic fittings of the free sprayer – well – not very good but not a deal breaker for the hose - understand that it comes free with the hose.

It has been a year since I bought my first hose from Kelley. During this entire time, the hose has continued to stay flexible, expand and contract as promised and no leaks or tears. Additionally, the metal hose ends have stood up to regular use in our yard without cracking or breaking. Our summer temperatures exceed 100 degrees and our winters get down to freezing so this hose has done an exceptional job. So great that we just bought a 2nd hose for our front yard. Finally, I like that we don't have to battle with the hose to "roll" it up after every use. We simply place the hose in a small pot because it's that small when contracted. How easy is that?

Burst after 8 months.

Unless you want to throw away your money, don't buy this garbage. While it works, it's pretty neat. It works great for a short period of time, but their warranty is worth about as much as the paper it's written on. After it bursts (and it will) you better hope you're using it when it does. Because if you leave the water on expecting the nozzle or on/off hose valve to keep the hose from leaking, you will come home one day with a burst hose and a waste of thousands of gallons of water wasted on your lawn. Then just try to get it replaced under warranty. They will just give you lip service that they will replace it, but will never actually send out a replacement. After several attempts of getting a replacement and broken promises, after my last attempt now Amazon is saying their email no longer works. So like I said --- DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY --- you have been warned.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product for the price.
