Great characters, lots of chemistry between them, lovely story. Would recommend for an easy spicy read that will have you hooked (pun intended)

I wasn’t sure on the story at first, it took a couple of chapters to try and get to know the characters, it’s harder when you don’t relate to anything but once I got in to the rhythm of things I finished the book in less then 24hours.Pleasant and I love LOVE a happy ending.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5I listened to the audiobook for this one and didn’t immediately love Piper. Both her and her sister reminded me of the spoilt twins in White Chicks, where it’s all about the next designer bag and who is hosting the latest glamorous party.But when they landed in the sleepy fishing village of Westport and were brought down to earth with a bump, it was then that I really started to enjoy the story.Brendan is the towns Sea Captain and also Piper’s love interest. I mean, who doesn’t love a well portrayed grump, who gives off the best boyfriend vibes and has a ton of smut talk?The way Brendan grounds Piper is commendable and I loved the changes their relationship brought out in her character, especially when we learned of all the things she’d done to help the other residents of Westport.My only gripe was that I would’ve liked their banter strung out a little longer. They got together too quickly and then the angst died off leaving it like any other romance book.

I brought this for myself as I love reading my books it is a great book to read for adults and teenagers best romantic book ever read I am looking forward to reading part 2 with fox and hannah piper young sister last sister quality of page is strong martial it worth of price I definitely will recommend this especially if you love reading thank you Amazon ❤

Well I’m a sucker. Of course I guessed what would happen early on and the type of ending I would see, it did that stop me being glued to every chemistry filled moment, floaty movement, endearing looks and awkward run ins?Of course not. In the first few page, I was dubious, quickly realising this was the point and there was so much to unravel about Piper Bellinger.When a series of bad decisions sent LA socialite Piper and her dutiful sister to the fishing town of Westpoint, no one was ready for what lay ahead. A burley widowed Captain Brendan fought when a sequinned covered Piper showed up turning his routined world and hometown askew.Piper’s relationship with her sister was truly endearing and a standout in this book. The sense of home as the Westpoint residents were introduced was surprising but made the book all the warmer.I cannot ignore the fireworks, steam and chaos that filled the pages with the battle of wills between a starry eyed socialite and a no nonsense captain.I wish i could articulate the escapism I felt when enveloped in this funny, steamy, heartwarming and empowering book.The personal developments and progression each character made through this book had me hooked on plot and characterisation.Great summer read.

This author’s books never disappoint, there is just no way to start reading and not stop until finished. The characters were interesting and funny, had deep emotions and witty conversations, there was charming situations and humour along heavy turmoil and a lot of personal growth. The romance was off the charts steamy and dreamy! Even though the characters couldn’t have been more opposite to one another somehow they fit perfectly and it was amazing to see their journey and what they individually went through as well as together, and how such a sweet story can have so many important figures and lessons within. It was truly enjoyable to read this book, I loved it.

I am ready to quit my life and move to a coastal town to fall in love with a fisherman.I resonated with Piper, which made the book even more enjoyable. Her journey of self-discovery and growth was relatable and beautifully portrayed. Brendan was equally compelling, and their love story felt genuine and heartfelt. The way their separate stories intertwined added depth and richness to the narrative. Additionally, I really liked the character development in this book, each character is well-crafted and evolves naturally throughout the story.This book is a perfect summer read—fun, easy, and SPICY. The romance between Piper and Brendan is steamy and engaging, keeping you hooked from start to finish.I’m very excited to read the next book in the series and see where Tessa Bailey takes these characters next. This book is a fun, easy, and spicy read, perfect for the summer.

This was my first Tessa Bailey book and I became an instant fan. Piper and Brendan's love story was as stormy as it was steamy, sparkly and spicy. All the things!Piper is an irresponsible, spoilt society girl – but she's still warm and sweet.Brendan is a moody grump - but he has a big heart and so much passion.He needs her to loosen him up and make him feel joy and love again; she needs him to ground her and put her in her place (occasionally). They're perfect for each other!I loved the sea-side vibes, the pace, the plot, the excellent smut, and the extraordinarily fantastic prose.Yeah, I'm a fan now. One book was all it took.
