There's 2 models that are somewhat in the same price range and are designed to hold both the keyboard and mouse. I picked this one, since there are are 4 points where the drawer is screwed to the desk, therefore offering more stability and can probably withstand higher amount of weight on the long term! The installation was easy and I'm more than happy with the purchase! One word of advice, just make sure your desk is thick enough so that the screws don't go through! Any other models are just 2-3 times more expensive. For my needs, this model is perfect!

Lo escogí porque es el más grande que pude encontrar y tenía buenas reseñas. Tengo un teclado ergonómico que ocupa mucho espacio y un mouse vertical. El espacio en la charola fue suficiente para que cupieran mi mouse y mi teclado, aunque eso solamente a lo ancho. En cuanto a lo alto, a pesar de haber colocado la charola lo más despegado del escritorio posible (aproximadamente 8 cm) mi mouse es demasiado alto para caber debajo del escritorio, pero como la charola se mete y se saca, de todas maneras me sirve. Eso de la altura ajustable es cierto pero no se ajusta con facilidad, básicamente si se quiere cambiar la altura hay que desatornillar la charola del escritorio y volverla a colocar, lo cual no es muy práctico. No obstante, creo que fue una buena compra. Eso sí, el tapete del mouse y el reposamuñecas que vienen incluidos no son de la mejor calidad, pero en cuanto a la charola en sí es bastante maciza y puedo recargar el peso de mis brazos en la ella sin problemas, aunque por lo general también me apoyo de los reposabrazos de mi silla. En resumen, estoy satisfecha con la compra.

OK, it is not built like a tank. But where I hear others complaining that it is too light I see crossed bracing which should be sturdy enough, provided it is not treated as an auxiliary desktop.Do be sure that you use a standard table with not much overhang at the edges. And definitely avoid what I initially tried, an outdoor table with crossed legs that come to nearly to the edge of the top.I can't comment about a mouse. I don't have it fully set up yet and my mouse is an older 3-button Unix style mouse in any case. If I have to fiddle with the mouse, it will be a small problem. Mostly looking to set up a laptop as a temporary PC/workstation and it looks perfect for the job.If this is a long term solution intended for years of use, I would not recommend it. But as as a temporary/portable solution it's a good fit.

I am so disappointed!All the parts of the tray are cheaply made and the system does not adapt to the Microsoft Natural Keyboard - too high. We had to add extension to make it work. Also, they tray does not glide in and out smoothly. It is also $20 cheaper at Walmart. Go figure! I trusted Amazon to have the best price available. Lesson learned!Returning it is definitely the best option for me, but I did not keep the boxes and need a tray now (because of shoulder and neck problems) so unsure how long it will take me to find a replacement.
