Epson C31CE95012 Series TM-M30 Thermal Receipt Printer, Autocutter, Bluetooth, Energy Star, Black

I was trying to help a restaurant find a thermal receipt printer (didn't want to worry about ink) that they could connect to an iPhone, iPad or IPod over Bluetooth. This HP printer says it can connect with iOS devices over Bluetooth and it does using an app and esoteric connection process.However, the description doesn't really say that in order to print over bluetooth that the app you're using needs to specifically support this printer. My client wanted to print email (from the email app) or from Safari (web browser) while logged into PayPal, but the printer, even though it's connected by bluetooth, does not show up as a possible printer from these apps. This printer does allow you to connect by USB cable, that could work for you if your printer is next to your iOS device. This printer also allows you to connect by Wifi - but you have to buy an HP wifi dongle to make that happen (is that clearly stated in the documenation?). We were frustrated by this and returned the printer.I don't think any of these details are clearly stated in the description. I returned the printer within 30 days in new condition after using about 24 inches from the role of thermal paper included for testing. I was charged a 20% restocking fee ($50 plus shipping) to return the printer. So, somehow Amazon or the seller made $50 off of me because their description is not thorough? I could tell this is a quality printer, but am not happy about the lack of clarity in their description or their return policy.If you're trying to solve the same problems as I was, you may want to avoid this printer or add the wifi dongle to your purchase. I think if the printer is connected by wifi, it would show up in Safari and Email as a possible print destination.

We use this printer for the Square POS app on the iPad (2019 iPad standard). It connects over bluetooth reliably and we haven't had any connectivity issues with it. Recommended!Note for Square iPad app users - if you want to use this printer as a second station to print out tickets when receiving orders from another iPad station, the printer needs to be connected over the network (over ethernet port on the Bluetooth variant). Receipts and tickets print just fine for orders taken over the iPad it's connected to over bluetooth.

I have delat with POS receipt printers quiet a lot. What appealed to me in this was the Bluetooth with IPAD. We use Shopkeep, and needed a receipt printer. I set it up, and it was a breeze.Then I was asked to make it work with two IPADs, well, took me few minutes to figure out that It does work, but only one device at a time. I had to disable Bluetooth, on the 1st IPAD to see and setup on the second oneNice and small, good printer

Who would have known when you purchase a wireless printer that supports WiFI that you would want it to work on WIFI.There are three types of the Epson Connect-It wireless dongles, the original OT-WL01 and the newer OT-WL02 and OT-WL05. The OT-WL05 dongle features a dual frequency support.

Use this for sales receipts for two different computers and no wires to plug in.

Works exactly as intended with my tablet. Using it to print olo orders for third party delivery.

Bakwas printer no refund policy after about 10 prints you have to reboot the printer and bluetooth disconnected again and again by itself. Because of this product I loose my 20k . Pathetic product. Please never buy this item its really a valuable advice because of this product Ioose my 20k . If usb works then bluetooth doesn't work if bluetooth works then usb doesn't work. Wish I could give this negative rating then my rating would have -100 .

The Uber Eats app has a hard time printing it out through this printer model. Often times, something we accept would not print, causing a delivery driver to have to wait to to this hardware issue. I recommend the Star Micronics Bluetooth printer for a more reliable experience. This is a review from using the product for about 1 year now. It served us well, but we are moving on to the Star Micronics lineup.

Terrible product. Constantly disconnecting, unreliable printer that's more of a headache than simply wiring down the orders and tallying them up manually. If I could give this a lower score than 1 star I would. Save yourself and your business a considerable amount of time and effort and buy literally anything else.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I sent the printer back with all its original packaging including the instructions/brochure and they scammed me!! They only gave me 25% refund because they were “missing” the paper. The printer kept disconnecting and didn’t even work so I had to buy another printer. DO NOT BUY.
