This was too big for my tank and I had to swap it out for a stack sponge filter, but I'm glad I bought it cause it did an excillent job clearing the water in a new hydroponic setup.

This filter is quite large. When the filter is connected to the air hose, the bubbles are not released from the airspout. Instead, they are released from the sides and water is not taken into the filter from the side of the filter that the bubbles are being released.

I PUT IN THE TANK NOT FILTERING AND NO WATER FLOW INTERNAL AND AIR STONE SOMETIME POP OFF AIR BUBBLE COME OUT ON THE SIDE . AFTER FOUND OUT DEFECTIVE INTERNAL PLATE NO HOLE OR VENT ON IT RETURN AT THE END.

It works great! My glofish love the extra oxygen.They've been extremely active since placing the filter in my 10gallon tank. My only question is where can I find the filter refills.

Nicely made product. I have not tried it yet but I'm sure it will work just fine. I was dissapointed it was bigger than I expected but oh well... Maybe I will get an other aquarium to use this in.

Works great for small aquariums. Doesn't beat up fish, and helps filter the water, while oxygenating.
