Jones Brothers Coffee - Ristretto Capsules (GIGOLO, Intensity:12) Compatible with Nespresso OriginalLine for Single Cup Coffee Pods (50 Count)

Like many users of Nespresso coffeemakers, I've looked for suitable substitutes for the expensive Nespresso coffee pods. I've tried at least 4 different brands ordered from Amazon, and a few that I've brought back from Europe (where they're easily available in grocery stores!). I ordered the Jones Brothers variety pack which gave me a chance to try out the different strengths. While I found the Elevate (blue capsule) undrinkable, the others were good. My absolute favorite is the Gigolo. I thought the strength at 12 might be too bitter, but I found it exceptionally smooth and strong - just what I wanted! I will be ordering this again...and again...and again!

This coffee is good value for the money paid, but the coffee itself isn't extraordinary. It works very well as a daily coffee, but it doesn't have any special umph or exceptional taste. Customer service is great, and getting it through Amazon is awesome - no complaints there. I happen to prefer a bolder, more distinct espresso, and Gigolo XL isn't it!

I have tried many, many different brands of coffees, including of course nespresso brand. Very hard to find a coffee with a #12 intensity that is not bitter or have a nasty “bite”. So far this coffee wins out, perfect combination of intensity, bite and smoothness. I have it delivered on subscribe and save to make sure I dont run out.

The level 12 espresso pods are my favorite! I have a box at home, at the office and at my mother's when I go visit. They are a perfect jump start in the morning and a great pick me up in the afternoon. Definitely recommend!

Overall, not as good as Nespresso brand. I was somewhat disappointed in the strength that was advertised - not as strong as Nespresso #12.

Great tasting coffee. The ristretto noir is bold and rich in flavor. It's nice to finally have a cheaper and great tasting alternative to the nespresso pods. I definitely recommend trying Jones Brothers company.

Awesome! The grind and pour are quality. Great taste. More importantly, I think having a choice, away from the name brand pods, it a big plus! Simple design and I like the plastic fun colored pod containers.
