Hamilton Beach 58915-SAU Professional High Performance Blender with Quiet Shield, Plastic, 625W, Grey

The media could not be loaded.  I understand the negative reviews. The blender is quiet but at low power. I use it mainly for protein shakes and it meets my expectations. If you are looking for silence at max power, you may be disappointed. On the video you can see (and hear) the difference between this product and a 20 euro blender.It's cool that a UK plug adapter is included.

My old blender was so loud it could raise the dead!I had been researching various blenders for months - literally. Ones that had similar specs were easily double the price. I almost bought one for 200.00+ however, the Seller offered no details on a warranty - which I thought, given the expense, was not acceptable and should be standard practice, surely...When I came across the Hamilton Beach on Amazon I had also seen the exact model being sold by another online retailer for +79.00. Bit of a cheek, really. Anyway, was almost put off by a 1 star rating here. But as it was advertised elsewhere as the # I US best-seller I thought that had to count for something.Sure enough, my experience has been totally different. I use the blender virtually every day: powerful, blends exceptionally well - even frozen fruit and veg - and, importantly, is genuinely 'quiet' with the sound shield on!

This 'quiet' blender is as noisy as others. Not worth 100 quid at all.

I really like this thing! Makes great daiquiris which is why I bought it. Seems solid and copes well with ice as long as it’s not very large bits.
