I've used spackle and Dixie Mud, there is a big difference in pricing but not on the product effect.

I bought this because several YouTube channels use this in their furniture makeover projects. I was definitely not disappointed! Dries fast and so far seems to hold up well. I have used it to fill in cracks and gouges in wood surfaces and to create raised stenciling effects. Sands very easily and is easy to use. Will definitely buy again when needed.

Love this product! I use this product all the time for refurbishing furniture and it works very well. I fill the nail holes, fix corners (you can use it to form it), I even use it to make molds to put on the dressers, etc. You can paint right over it and it covers great!

I was skeptical about paying so much for wood filler. My wife showed me the product on a video where this teacher flips furniture. I thought that it was going to suck but it worked amazingly well. Now I am going to order other Dixie Belle products.

Instead of using spackle or wood filler, I used Dixie Mud on some furniture that had deep gouges. It worked great - filled it in & color matched with some paint I had.Next, I’m going to use it to a 3-D stencil.

Dixie Belle is so very easy to use! I love all of their products! You tube has so many videos to help give you new ideas or just help on what to do.
