GLIMMER GODDESS Organic Bronzer Body Lotion - Sexy Level 2 Bronze Body Shimmer, 8 oz

I've tried hundreds of self tanners and many body bronzers. So many companies like Trucco body, savage bronzer from sallys and Sublime have made wonderful wash off body bronzer lotions but sadly discontinued them. This is the best one I found since my beloved Trucco body bronzer was discontinued! Air brush legs is perfect for more coverage but sometimes I just want a good glow over my sunless tan that's not too thick. I have used others but some are too oily or don't have enough color. THIS ONE IS LEGIT and is ORGANIC and smells good like lemon essential oil (I have hundreds of essential oils). Please never stop making this! It's perfect! Not oily, has good color, and smells nice!

Wanted to use for some time before rating. After checking with maker of the product (SUPER service) I found I could mix with my normal lotions to reduce the shimmer. Being a 'seasoned' woman I did not want to over do the effects. I use a fairly small amount, very well mixed with my extreme moisturizing lotion, and it turns out for me perfect. I did not rate the moisturizing very high but it may be more than I am personally finding in the way I use it. The scent is light, pleasant and does not linger extensively. Considering the small use I employ, it is not expensive. A high user might find a difference in value for the money. I am exceptionally happy with results of the product in the manner I use it. The customer service is fabulous and I have compliments when wearing. The only possible down side, which I do not find a show stopper at all, is a little transfer of the 'sparkles' to clothing. My guess is a person that uses more than I do might see a lot more transfer of the shimmer/sparkle on places not wanted. To sum up, I am a very pleased user and will probably re-order when getting low on product.

I'm on my third bottle of this lotion- and i love it! from all the shimmering lotions i've tried (and there were many) - this one is the best!it has the best consistency of being between oil and body lotion. the quality of the ingredients is clearly evident and it just glides on, nourishes the skin really well and absorbs quickly. it feels luxurious, without being heavy or oily/dripping. the scent is also great, and - luckily - evaporates pretty quickly, so it's not overwhelming or competing with any perfume i might have on.i personally prefer the shimmer lotions with fine glitter in them (vs. the type that has those 'micro' things that on me just make my skin look oily/shiny/reflective, without actually adding actual "sparkle" particles. the gold shimmer of this lotion is simply stunning- while i started with only using this lotion for special date nights, i now actually wear it - applied in moderation - to the office, too :). the shimmer flakes are extremely fine and delicate, they are more matte-finish, so they don't look glitzy or reflective as some of the cheaper looking larger-size glitter out there. they also apply evenly so you don't get streaks, and create a delightful twinkle that i've received a lot of compliments on. i also tried their Whipped Body Butter, and while it is also a great product and gives a similar glow, i find that controlling the amount to be applied is easier with the lotion bottle.i also tried their Diamond shimmer lotion: the first bottle was not a good fit (more silver than pearly-diamond) but they replaced the bottle with an amazing ivory-pearl color that loos awesome. BTW- as reference, i'm an extremely pale Caucasian, and both the Gold color and the new Diamond shimmer add a really nice 3D twinkle, without looking cheap or too contrasting with my skin tone. Both actually look classy :) - they are not too overpowering that you can't wear it every day, or that you end up looking like "Goldfinger" or like you're dressed for a nightclub.lastly, like another reviewer said, after applying, you are left with gold shimmer on your hands. i consider that a given- since you do need to use your hands to apply it. i don't consider it an issue since it's easy to just wash my hands after. In addition, some of the shimmer may flake on to clothes or bed sheets (depending on how much you apply)- i also think that is expected, and i actually enjoy the occasional minor spark residue on my clothes.bottom line- this is the best shimmer body lotion i've tried. it's an excellent product - luxurious, nourishing, with a very subtle, yet noticeable, glow. highly recommended!

The product does what it says. It has a nice scent and provides a noticeable sparkle. I am already tan for the summer so I went with the Gold to add some sparkle without the skin tinting that is present in the Bronze. I might try the Bronze a little more into the winter. I started with the Super 3 level so that I could dial up the glamour and try a couple combinations.The first picture as a reference shows my bare legs after a shower and a quick shave with no product. Next I used my regular lotion and followed up with a small amount of Glimmer Gold Super 3 lotion for a subtle sparkle. The photo does not really do it justice since the glimmer changes and twinkles as you move and catch the light. If you look closely you can see the sparkles the camera caught.In the next photo I used slightly more Glimmer Gold AS my regular lotion. As you can see, there is a more noticeable glimmer even in the still pictures making me look more Goddess like.Finally, I paired Glimmer Gold with some tanning oil. Banana boat in this case – but any tanning oil would do. The shine is all the oil, but Glimmer Gold gave my legs an added flash on top of the oil’s glossy luster. This is definitely a look you would go with to get noticed in a pair of short shorts or a little black dress.Overall, would recommend.

I purchased this in February and have had it for six months now. I got it for a party I had to attend. I was really excited for the shimmer, but the shimmer gets EVERYWHERE! I mean it falls everywhere, i do not like the quality of this at all. Especially after having it for six months.
