Good afternoon, There are 50 envelopes and 100 sheets (there's a sticker on the bottom of the box that states this; I also counted the envelopes to be certain .... and it is so, 50 envelopes). The paper is of very nice quality and the envelopes are lined a very nice touch. I hope that this is helpful.

Q: How does the paper accept fountain pen ink?

It is very fountain-pen friendly. You can use a broad nib and a wet ink without difficulty. I use this paper when I want to make a good first impression.
